Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

There was a biggest probably in history of LEGO SALE countrywise that puts BlackFriday deals in to the shelf of shame.
Everything across the country was discounted by 40%. Every single Boxed set.
I made a 4k eq of GBP combined purchases this morning from 2 different online retailers including multiple copies of UCS MF, Ninjago Docks, Mountain Cave, Assembly Square, Ninjago City, Y-Wings UCS,  and so on...

That was bold and unexpected... especially for a country such as Poland because it was central organized from LEGO side.

all the stores online, retail and high street covered with this promo are here.(link below)
All of them were "asked" by TLG to make a up to 40% discounts. Some of them went full throttle some of them limited the promo to just 30% which is still great for D2C sets.

that was something extremely unusual, probably because of massive backlog. TLG couldn't provide more new sets because old ones were still in Store Warehouses and they simply refused an additional delivery. Thinking if LEGO is going to somehow compensate them (especially to smaller stores) this event run in $$$. 40% on everything is not a joke.
In Poland you can still easily find Teenage Mutant Ninja, Prince of Persia, Lone Ranger, or even 8097 I found today jumping between sites to find the best deal for myslf without dividing bulk order in to numerous different smaller orders.

If some of you have address in Poland or friend you can order still from online websites.
Promo works until midnight..

TLG made this kind of event because of polish holiday that is called 'Children's Day' on 1st June. That day we give our kids presents (toys mostly). About that you can find retired set in Poland - today I found in my local toy shop 8420, 8672 and 7894 in quite nice prices, I got 30% off as an addition :) BTW you made nice hunting today, I wish that TLG had more than one brand store in my country (Warsaw).

On eBay. Seller accepted the offer of $500 shipped. Seller didn't realize their incredibly vague title of "Multiple Lego Sets" was why the listing had zero interest. All instructions included. Boxes included outside of the SSD. I figure I can flip the other 4 sets and make this a very reasonably priced SSD.

I picked up a Technic Bucket excavator from a Toys R Us for 20% off. Not a great deal, but better than most and I just couldn’t leave it there.

Well, now the UCS catch up list is sitting at a cool 1 item. Rolling the dice. Listing says the sets are complete and if nothing else the images show the rare parts are all there.

7191 X-Wing and 10212 Imperial Shuttle for $332.99

Clearly parts of an AT-AT (8129) in there as well, as well as small pieces of 10221... I guess in case my last purchase goes awry.

I had a similar experience the last time I was in Europe (I believe it was in Krakow). There was a really small LEGO store around Old Town with a bunch of really old BNIB exclusives at ridiculous prices. It was really nice to see them in shelves though, rather than on eBay lol.

Bought Battle on Takodana today with TRU Rewards for my personal collection

Where is the store? Can you describe the place?

In the last week, I've bought the following to part out in my Bricklink store:

5 x 75182 Republic Fighter Tank @ £10 (50% off) - Sainsburys

3 x 75173 Luke's Landspeeder @ £10 (50% off after using £9 voucher) - Sainsburys

3 x 76102 Thor's Weapon Quest @ £9.99 (50% off) - Amazon

75182 is one of my favourite sets, and I've bought 19 so far - at 50% off you can't go wrong!

Pretty happy with this $54 shipped Ebay purchase from last week:

Why you may ask?

  1. It contains the right pieces I need to merge my two 60051's into one long train with the two spare "ends" converted to proper cars (so a six car train, 2 ends + 4 passenger coaches) - I will use the partial middle carriage as a parts pack for that.
  2. 10 straights and 6 curves is ~$20 worth of track
  3. More magnets are always welcome :)
  4. Those 79111 Constitution Chase engine parts contain 4 large drivers ($7.50 each used) and 2 blind drivers ($7 each used) ... $44 in parts in those 6 pieces alone. Both stickered "Constitution" 1x6 tiles are also present (50c each used).
  5. Train wheelsets are also running $2.50 each, and there are 5 complete ones included, plus some parts.

Over the past week, Asda instore, multiples of each:

75167 bounty hunters £1.20

75166 First Order pack 71p

75880 McLaren £3

21140 chicken coop £5

76096 Superman Krypto £5

70607 ninjago chase £4

various brickheadz £3

various ninjago spinners £2
