What Lego set did you buy today?

Featured Replies

I´m surprised no one mentioned this earlier - when stuff goes half price online it is usually the same in the official stores and no need to f5. Tomorrow morning will be a busy one.

Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

Winter toy shop half price? That's cracking. Many left?

All gone by the time I left. Ones that I had were the pick of the bunch. Thankfully they allowed me to put behind the counter and through as separate transactions to get four separate lots of freebies. Helps when everyone knows you and you always give them awesome feedback. Also lots of smaller Ninjago sets, super escorts, micro fighters, some Lego batman (scuttlers and clayface). Was hoping to see an AOH, Tie or Kwiki but think these are done. They also curiously had a couple of F40 but these were at full price.

Still many 60th birthday freebies? I reckon some of the quieter shops will still have pickings tomorrow as not too many people will have cottoned on being weekdays and the rest were all F5ing. Having said that Tabby has been a bit quiet recently.....

F40 was full price on the web yesterday so it will be the same in stores. WTS was not in any sale so we didn´t know.

I think most of the Lego stores have relatively little stock of old sets. So I'm. It sure where it's come from.

leicester square may have had the best supply. But think Cheese may have a different local store?

Loads of freebies still left. Will be back tomorrow to see if there’s anymore returns. Failing that I’ll get my Saturn V and the promos. Will keep you posted.

Since you are on good terms, please ask them if they are getting returns from customers and also if they send returns to Germany. It is good to know.

Can you also find out if it's worth us F5-ing? Thanks

Remember someone posted Adventure Time at 50% off earlier in the week?  Perhaps whoever it was can confirm what other sets were marked down at that time.

Really it should have been synchronised from 2nd Feb 50% sale start, so these sets will have been reduced for almost 2 weeks.

Stratford and Leicester he did most likely Floor Jump, made a transaction 1st floor then jumped to ground floor to do the same, cashiers pay no mind but floor managers yes.
Westfield (Shepherd's Bush) is clean from returns so you won't get anything from them.
Best picks to get discounted sets:
1.Bluewater - hell yeah (gold mine of long time recalled sets)
2.Watford
2.Stratford
3.Leicester
4. Westfield (Shepherd's Bush)

Watford will be closed by the end of 2018.

£79.99. I can't get staff discounts right now, but I have huge faith in this superb ship. It's a shame that Amazon won't let me buy any more since the time when they were half price. It's bound to overtake that hideous Sea Cow.

Dunno about that buy-in TBH, I can see it making next year´s 50% off sale....

They'll be gone within seconds if 50% off next year especially with the low limit of 10 (I want 99!). Either way, I feel there's profit to be made after EOL.

If it does make the 50% sale it will simply be because o a little bit of left over stock. It's not a turd that will need discounting for it to clear. I would have thought better to wait for some good 3for2 deals toward November, target buying for DB should be £65 imo

There was nothing to go with the DB during Tesco's last 2(3)-for-2 offer. If they allow >3x DB in the next sale, I'm going very all-in and will rinse/repeat until sold out. It's the best ship released for many years.

Do you mean 74.99? It's that price online at the moment.

£79.99 as it was before the price drop. I'll be now be getting £15 in JL vouchers. If not, it's still worth >£5 more in a perfect box.

Grabbed one of the Winter Village Stations from Wal-Mart at 20% off for Christmas display. Can't recall many discounts lower than that on the Christmas Creator sets.

Can someone post a link? I'm having a hard time finding it on their wonky site.

edit...never mind. Finally found it. Good deal.
