Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

local Tesco is going through some reconstruction in January so they are fire selling everything inc Lego for 50% off, someone posted a photo in our Lego FB group so I rushed in but every exclusive was gone (they had Porsche, TB, BigBen, Par. Restaurant, Detect Office or Bucketwheel of what I remember), so I grabbed last VW Beetle and some friends Grand Hotels, minecraft Fortresses, ninjago Dragon's Forges and bunch of Louvres and Buckinghams

Today, I purchased a copy of 41074 (Azari and the Magical Bakery) for RRP, found the set in a local toyshop. Also, I got a free 70615 Fire Mech for buying two  copies of 21133 (The Witch Hut) for 59.99€ each.

Found a lonely Friends Roller Coaster at Costco for $40, may want to check your local stores, I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the daily deals or clearance threads

Who wants to play laugh at the newbie? This is my entire LEGO haul from post-Xmas clearance, mostly at target but the lodge was from Amazon and the Kylo Ren was from TRU. Thoughts? Great buys? Things I should dump? Just dipping my toes in the investment waters...

None are bad if you like building and collecting. I personally only buy clearance at 75% or above because I mostly deal in quick flips/ retail arbitrage. Buying in at 40% or 50% as a reseller means accepting lower resale margin or waiting a bit longer. But really, it’s all subject to where you can sell and also your costs beyond buy in (e.g. gas and your time). I think you’ve started off well!

Looks ok, now you just need 100 of each.

Went to Target last night and found an Assembly Square on the clearance shelf.  The box which is really in good condition, has a sticker marked as a repackage and priced $196.01.  It's kind of unusual, but not unheard of.  What was more amazing was the other 3 Assembly Squares, 5 Assault on Hoth (75098), 7 Big Ben (10253), a few Snowspeeders (75144), a Technic Porsche 911 (42056), a Kwik-E-Mart, a couple of other large technic sets, and about 20 Silent Mary's (71042) on the shelves in the store.  I was stunned, and amazed.  And yes, I did take the "repackaged" Assembly Square.

Walked into a local toy store and found this (damaged) pretty beat up (and repaired with tape) box in the clearance section:

Couldn't leave it behind. :P

What are you going to do with it? build it or part out the train and combine the PF and tracks with a Horizon Express or Winter Train?

That's incredible. A sign of things to come?!

I saw something similar in my Target in the form of 2 brand new Helicarriers for RRP (was hoping they were returns, with a cheaper price, but no).

Nice haul.

seeing them together though the Tie UCS looks almost too big compared to the X-Wing. Is they both scaled correctly to one another?

Probably returns

If returns, they mark them down 30%, if they are internet only.

Nice table.. I have something similar in my spreadhseet.. although I totally dont care about the "discount" and PPB (whats the use of that??) .. in longer term it will just make you a headache if you calculate these fields manually .. I keep iny my table set number, set name, piece count, RRP in USD, RRP in local currency (if I want to sell it later on local market).. actual purchase price and then the latest stats on Brickpicker US, Brickpicker UK, Brickpicker EU.. and the last column is weight of the set in grams.

It´s a good idea to pull up an average discount of what you have  bought as that helps when setting sales prices.

Some sets will be turds but can be offset by the gems and you can see overall your average profit, which is the bottom line.
