So, I'm visiting my folks and decided to pop into the nearest Books-A-Million.  After using their coupons, gift card, membership discount, and BOGO 50%, it was a decent haul, especially for that old UN Set.

Plus, TLJ soundtrack for $10.33.  That helped with one of the coupons plus also I loved the soundtrack.

was hoping for some investment purchases but my local TRU had hardly any Lego. No wonder the store is closing, it’s always badly stocked!

I've been in 4 tru's in last 5 days and all are the same.  Although Lego are obviously still supplying them as they had new star wars, city and friends sets. 

Maybe retailers just ordered less Lego this year. Smyths isn't much better for older sets, Asda stock online just about cleared out.  Tesco seems to have had less stock this year. Even Amazon seem to have been OOS on items more this year.

Mine TRU must be the exception. Despite not venturing out yesterday and this avoid the rampaging horde, went in this morning. Place was empty but still had a few witch hunt, one ice spikes and a desert outpost, as well as a burj. Had a bunch of £20 gift cards so picked them all up. Straight into six months storage.

The only minecraft sets I've seen in the 4 Tru's and 2 Smyths Toys has been Crafting Box 2.0 and Ocean Monument. 

Non movie Ninjago and elves has been just as bare.

Which is why i've been picking up Hands of Time Ninjago sets and Queen Dragons Rescue sets from wherever I can find them even at rrp.

Was in my local TRU today, my little one wanted to spend her vouchers from Xmas. Think they're running low on Lego, they've put playmobil as a shelf filler on most of the bottom shelves, they're also putting out some older stock. Picked up 2x 41176 and 2x 41179 at £50 each. No sign of the new SW sets, pretty sure this is one of the stores that'll be closing soon. 

These are marked sold out everywhere near me.

For $7 each I’ll take it. I don’t want to wait until they are $5 each next Christmas.

I got 3 of phantom 75170 FOR $20.98 each, 70915 for $30 each and 21124 for $34.98, most SW series are only 30% off

The 76060 was 30% off. That's the only one I would question, since there are so many sets out there at 50% off. Though I too have a few DSSS in my storage.
