I was super excited to walk into Toys R Us and find some of the new Star Wars sets. I bought Defense of Crait, Ahch To and First Order Specialists. All of them were overpriced, but I don't think that's TRU, I think it's LEGO. I left the Grievous speeder because even though I want a grievous figure, it was stupidly overpriced. I also left the Cantina, the Jawa Battle Pack and the Boba and Darth Constraction figures. These are for me and I was really itching for them. Although part of me wondered if it was too late to get a good QF out of them.

Also picked up the Kylo and Rey Brickheadz at Target. It was the Limited Edition that sold me on that. I doubt I'll build it, and it may wind up under the tree for my daughter.

I think it is 204-00-0293 for the Kylo / Rey double pack. FWIW, my target says it is OOS, but there are least five on the shelf.

Indeed. It's a weird world when recently retired Bionicle, Friends, and Elves sets outperform the conventional bets.

And honestly, I'm currently getting a better ROI from flipping the Mech Dragons during this window than I was pulling from the Saturn Vs at launch because of better buy-ins.

I’m about to buy 75198 Star Wars Tattooine battle pack. On brickset it says it hasn’t been released yet and on eBay they’re going for $30. I see them here at TRU for $14.99. Worth picking up a few more? Has anyone else seen these out in the wild?

Bummer.....thought I was finding a hidden gem not meant for release yet.

I bought 9 Star Wars minifigs for $29 for my personal collection., including Jek-14.  One of the troopers seems be leaning, maybe as a result of being brought home in the cold or too much eggnog.  They will go well with my other minfigs, including the interlopers - punk rock guitar guy and gamer guy.

I met a father and his two kids at a Walmart to get them, and the son was very happy to get his $29 Christmas bonus.  Since I was there I decided to do some shopping and a much to my surprise I found a SNES Classic for $79 in the electronics department!  Even the cashier at the checkout asked me where I got it...

Books-A-Million.  Often found in the Midwest and some parts of the South but some random stores alongside the coasts.

Well, my sons Ninjago Green Dragon for Xmas came from LEGO Shop at Home. It is smashed and in really bad condition. Same with the free London bus. It’s like they overpacked the box with air pockets. I don’t want to give it to him like this for Christmas. If I complain, will they compensate me? I haven’t received anything like this badly damaged from them before.

I wouldn’t worry about the box if he is going to open it anyways.
