Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

How

If I told you how, you'd miss all the reading of last couple pages in Daily Deals thread about it :)

Mini bat mobile polybag. Had to buy something looking for those $7 dollar speeder bikes. No luck.

If you haven't built it (and like having something in the background), I'd suggest watching "Space Race" on Netflix. Watched this short series when building (includes info about the Saturn V). Happy building!

how much did you have to spend?

After striking out last night I found two $7 Scout Troopers. I spent an hour in the car driving to the middle of nowhere, but it was worth it for another successful Walmart Lego adventure.

Sealed Battle of Endor 8038 for $125. Not bad considering the RPP was originally $100 plus tax. I'm planning to build this one...

I recently picked up one used for $75 complete (no box) and really enjoyed it.  I just built the Battle at Scarif and I'm starting to prefer the battle scenes over many of the vehicles now.  I really want to pick up 7879 Hoth Echo Base and 75098 Assault on Hoth as those two work pretty well together (just have to find them at an impassable price).

2 more are coming home with me today :)

Ah yes. The good ol' QFLL game.  I did that back in the old days....of the 71040 Disney Castle at the start. It was a nice profit but packing and storing the large ones is hard sometimes.  Still, mad props to you for pulling it off.

Man now Disney castle is the old days...

Mixed Lot - Buy-in $140

Mixed in via piece recognition or booklets I've found:

  • 10220 - Camper Van
  • 21005 - Falling Water
  • 4730 - Chamber of Secrets
  • 4841 - Hogwarts Express
  • 4737 - Quidditch Match
  • 4738 - Hagrid's Hut
  • 4195 - Queen Anne
  • 7946 - King's Castle
  • 8097 - Slave I
  • Too many Bionicles to count
  • Bunch of other mid-size sets

Lot of organization ahead of me....lets hope there aren't too many pieces missing. ?️

Bought a White House and Louvre for $80. Also picked up a used 4502 X-Wing for $55 that needs ~$10 in parts.

Potentially 2 more tomorrow, $6.97 ea.

Yes! I too prefer scenes over most vehicles. Battle of Endor was one of my first "expensive sets" when I started buying LEGO as an adult. Fun set.

Ok everyone out there I need your help. This guy here wants to sell all these sets for 60 dollars. He says everything is all there for each set but what concerns me is why are the boxes corners cut in the flaps at the same spot? If the figures are gone is it still worth it? What's your thoughts on this?

I think this must be what a box looks like when the flap is just ripped open instead of cutting seals

used 7249 XXL Mobile Crane and sealed 7905 Tower Crane for my personal pleasure

It's barbaric. I'm giving this lot a 75% chance of smelling like smoke.
