What was the tax? Surely it was high

taxes are always high on 4/20 - even in NH.  wah - weh.  bn membership discount takes care of the tax.  only wish i had more discounted gift cards.

Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

On my local Facebook page, for $45 57 of 61 sealed bags of what I assume are Taj Mahal pieces.

$99 Modular Bank 10251 Bargain Hunt store (opened box but looks OK at a glance) Can't wait to build it and add it to my collection

Series 17 CMF London KY Walmart. (Retro Spaceman, Rocket Boy, Elf girl, Connoisseur, Food worker with hotdog, Gourmet Chef, Corn Cob guy, Secret minifig) at regular retail price.

I had $50 in TRU Rewards and couldn't help myself.  5x Crossbones and 1x Infernox Capture the Queen for $30.  I wasn't going to get the Infernox, but with my rewards bringing the total down, I was going to have to pay for shipping.  And for reference, it looks like Crossbones is C2C at SAH and OOS at WM and Target.  Goodbye my friend...

Well, I've had my eye on this for awhile. Just bought the 21050 Architecture Studio for $91.  Used up my eBay bucks and got the 8% back.  I feel as someone who works in the industry, it never hurts to have the Architecture Studio around.  Strictly for professional and working reasons of course.

I like your way of thinking. It will be used for work purposes. My accountant agrees as well. By which I mean...me.

Found an open case of CMF17 at WM today. Managed to find most of the ones I wanted for the personal collection, minus Rocket Boy and Corn Cob Guy. Toy Mgr was around, so I asked if he had another case, which he went to get. Came back saying he had to take it all back because of the street date, but allowed me to have my pick. Was difficult smooshing with him walking around but I don't think this WM has any more RB or CCG once 5/1 hits....

12 CMF @3.97 each

I broke down and joined in on the Shop Your Way madness once again.  My kids have actually been asking for a Star Scavenger, so it was a perfect excuse to get back into the points game

2x 75147 Star Scavengers for $45.76 after discounted gift cards, surprise points, and SYW points. I also got back $29.43 in SYW Points...

(This is why we were short SHLD and SHOS in my fund back before the borrow rates got ridiculous.  No way this company makes it.)

Now I have to figure out what to do with my $30 in Rewards.

I'm quite pleased with my unexpected haul. Thought I'd rub 198cb98b48ddd5feace30bfa2de8a055.jpgit in a little. Quality over quantity. I would've, maybe should've, grabbed more polybags but I wasn't expecting to find two extinct birds. And a great deal on some on the endangered list.

All the new stuff was only 10% off and the princess was a whopping 15% over priced, but worth it.

Bought 75137, 75168 &  75169 for personal collection (freezing chamber, Yoda's starfighter & duel on naboo). Not the best sets as the scenery is lacking but they're classic scenes and the mini figs are great so couldn't pass up 25% off each set at Sainsbury's (online) in UK.

Used/complete for $100: Wolverine Chopper showdown, Antman final battle, sith night speeder, and an iron man extremis sea battle. I wanted the exclusive figs from the latter 3 and will sell off the first to cover a bulk of the total cost since I already have it.

Picked up another 60080 Spaceport from the local Barnes & Noble. I gave them a call and asked if they had discount LEGO out today. The lady said, "You want the Spaceport, right?"  I told her, "...Maybe."  She ended up holding behind the counter for me to be picked up.

I think I'm done at this point with the Spaceport. Stocked up on 4 already.  That'll do.

I'm back from a nice little trip to Venice (Italy) and the Adriatic Sea. I browsed some shops and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this:

azKSGdg.jpg

(I don't know if it's visible, but the brown LEGO shipping box contained a 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon and there's a 10189 Taj Mahal, too.) And that selection was only the tip of the iceberg, they had almost every historic set. It was like a LEGO museum on the seafront of a small beach town. So I maxed out my credit cards and bought them all, right? Wrong!

I guess they had all those sets because their prices were straight from Cloud cuckoo land. For example 10181 Eiffel Tower was € 4,990, 10187 VW Beetle was € 2,990 and 76042 Helicarrier was € 550. Insane!

So I had to settle for these little souvenirs:

fVLKaEz.jpg

(4) 75134 Galactic Empire Battle Packs @ 60 % discount (relatively scarce in Germany)

(12) 41171 Emily Jones & the Baby Wind Dragon and (6) 41178 The Dragon Sanctuary @ 20 % discount (very scarce in Germany)

Looks like those exclusives were US imports as the boxes all had part counts on them.

@ Walmart

2x Elves Shadow Castle - $40 ea

2x Buildable SGT Jyn Erso - $9 ea

@ Walgreens

Buildable K-2s0 - $12.99

Buildable death trooper - $12.99

8x series 4 mixels - $2.59 ea

I had a similar experience the last time I was in Europe (I believe it was in Krakow). There was a really small LEGO store around Old Town with a bunch of really old BNIB exclusives at ridiculous prices. It was really nice to see them in shelves though, rather than on eBay lol.

Bought Battle on Takodana today with TRU Rewards for my personal collection

Usual suspects at TRU couldn't pass up Nexo at 60% off.

Boscovs had 20% of select themes today Friends elves SW and more Emma's was marked down to $59.98 so $47

I can so see it in PL :) I should be calling my friends and family to hunt for Lego there for me.

Paid a few pounds for this 1960s set at a local Car Boot Sale. Not sure of its value (Bricklink has one without the booklet for £15 but can't find it elsewhere). Really interesting box and booklet. Everyone else was haggling over low-end Star Wars sets.
