Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

How much for a fellow bp'er to buy one from you?

I have a feeling that u are not the first to ask ;)

How do you even approach store employees to ask if they would sell their train sets?

People need money this time of year and maybe their sales bonus isn´t so high as last time. A fistful of pesos usually works.

I think 4002016 is a long term hold and I would NEVER list all 16 of them so soon. You'd kick yourself if/when they reach 2x what they're worth now. If they don't owe you much, what's the rush?

the ups store lets you get 100's of boxes with just 1 mailbox there?

Yes. They're independently owned and I have developed a good relationship with the store I frequent. I started shipping there when I did a trade last year and two boxes were stolen off of my porch.

In stores already? What chain did you buy it from? Same Boba as the one in the Carbonite Chamber set?

Purchased from amazon, TRU are also selling. I'll have to double check the print on boba against my carbon set, however the cape design is plain on this set as opposed to camo on the carbon set.

Maybe the camo cape & the Ugnaught will be enough to carry Carbon Chamber after retirement despite Boba in this set. I wouldn't expect riches, but Carbon Chamber at a low buy-in would do well.

2 x the very recently and hopefully very short lived IST resurrection.

45 Mixels (assorted series 6-8 ) for $4 ea. Target.

Not sexy by any means, but pretty easy to make about $2 profit each.

Are they on sale, or we they marked down?

Part of the "20% off all LEGO" deal at Target. Normally $4.99, on sale for $4.00.

$2 on $4 is excellent,  sexy is overrated anyways

Agreed. Days of buying a $200 set and selling for $300 are dead and gone. As long as your shipping operation is streamlined, turning that same $200 into $300 through 15 sales isn't an unbearable burden in my book.

Id say you're selling too early or undercutting too much.
I've sold several series 3-4, that I picked up at Walgreens for 1.99 and are still available, for $9 each. Helps to have the set of 3. But the demand for these will build. They don't take up much space, so set a good price. =)

I'm skeptical of the longterm growth, given the mixels range is retired. Happy to sell them at $21-25 for sets of 3 at present.

I can respect your advice/approach to them, though. I may well be leaning too far on the QFFL side of things, but hard not to be in the current market :/

Not really today, but one of the 42030 Volvo Wheel Loaders I ordered on amazon UK last month finally shipped; £119.

Fairground Mixer from Toys R Us - £100. Got a free £20 giftcard for my troubles ;)

Go ahead and string me up, the local Tesco Express wanted to as I've only just collected these after being in their lock-up for 2 weeks!

99x 60074 CITY Bulldozer at £11 each (using some Clubcard points)

99x 60092 Deep Sea Submarine at £11 each (using some Clubcard points)

They have to stay in the van overnight (hmmm) as I can't get to the warehouse until the morning. At least most appear to be in original factory boxes which is good. I did get a polite "telling off" when I spoke to Tesco CS a short time ago.

Would someone be able to tell me if it is worth buying Lego Architecture Imperial Palace for £74.99.  Thanks

Sweet. I ordered two then also and I just checked my Amazon account there - mine have shipped too!

I was beginning to lose hope since they're retired.

Now all I need are the 4 Ecto-1's for £33.80 each & 3 Technic Arctic Trucks for £30.74 to come through too.

Yeah, the other one has shipped as well. The Mystery Mansion I ordered have been cancelled though :(

How about you tell us what you think first and then we'll reply.
