Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

Sprocket's implying the sourcing of said items is questionable.

That's exactly what I'm saying, I cant think of any good reason for someone to be selling these at less than 50%.

Even if it was a reseller who was stuck for cash they'd know that they would sell this day one for $250, never mind $180.

Not up to me to question where or how they obtained the sets. If that were the case then everything you bought at either a yard sale or flee market for a bargain would need to be scrutinized. They did mention needing money so maybe its a must sell condition.

we shouldn't jump to conclusion like that.

there are lot of sellers on ebay from whom veteran members of this forum buy and these sellers are selling same sets for below rrp with free shipping.

example kylo ren : rrp : $119,99 [ current ebay offerings $90-$99 with free shipping] what's their cost  on these? should we just say that the sources were questionable?

90-[fees: 13,50]-[shipping 10,00] = 66.50 [ they must be making some $ on those right? ]that's already 50%off RRP netted. so CL deal @ 50% i am not going to raise alarm already... but its not NORMAL. that's for sure.

Just a quick question on your opinion...Are you a believer in the Mystery Vans for investment or personal use?

my 2 cents, it's risky but is likely a winner.  depends how long (toy story sets years to appreciate since they were greatly discounted).  we just need the sets to disappear after these types of discounts.

at least lego made a (and is making another) quality cartoon.

A pair of DDC (70818) at Kmart for $0 after SYW points.  have $50 (now $20) in points expiring this week...

A Villa Savoye (21014) at BN for $44 after discounts and gc.

Found an open case at TRU. Rang up as not able to sell until May 1 but manager overrode because it was on display. Grabbed a batch.

Bought another maze and corner deli from TRU, 20% off plus gc, so about 36% off. Not too deep discount, but I'm okay with it.

21005 Fallingwater, RRP. Probably my last investment purchase of the year.

Lucky you, that's free money.

Thanks. Provided I can sell it at a profit after fees - the architecture market is pretty dead right now but you gotta keep the faith.

Went to local Walmart

Picked up 6 Darksied Invasion - 76028 for $30CDN each

Picked up 2 X-Men vs The Sentinel - 76022 for $34.98CDN each at Toys R US

Not bad up here in the north since we barely get sales anymore.

Think you'll be ok on that front some how. Good find :thumbsu:

12 City Bulldozers £4.99 each used £120 of free vouchers

6 City Shuttles £2.99 each used £60 of free vouchers
