Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

  • I am very glad my whole family loves my hobby. My husband and I bought these today for our collection!!! Not the greatest deal ever, but I saved some money and got the sets I wanted. Not in photo are

Is it true?  Has SoCal finally started going on clearance at WM?

Well, I know that I was able to pick up a 60080 Spaceport today for $59.  Just a lone one, as all the other WMs still have it at $119.  But I'll take it.

I like $25 more

Ok this is a little late, but I've been on a super buying spree as of late.  Good old tax returns FTW!!!!

January 25:

Ferris Wheel, and Ghostbusters Firehouse

January 30:

Brick Bank, and Mercedes Benz AROCS

February 2:

Helicarrier, Pop Star tour bus (for the kids), Louvre, TIE Fighter, Kwik-E-Mart, Temple of Airjitzu, and Crawler Crane.

It's nice to be caught up on the sets that I've been waiting to buy since early last year.

Last night, for my son, I Scooped up a Ninjago Airjitzu Flyer Jay at the grocery store on clearance for 4.00

This morning I scooped up 21017 Imperial Hotel for 99.99, no tax, free shipping. I missed the train on this set, but still got one at a decent price now

Got 2 MTT's for £44.99 each from LEGO Shop at Home. Accidentally placed the order twice so emailed them to cancel one as I didn't want to be greedy. They were shipped yesterday. Along with a Tumbler.

Found a 75040 General Grievous Bike for $19 at a smallish WM today ... seeing they sell $45 on Amazon I figure I got a deal, but still debating if I'm not keeping it for my son (we don't have an Obi-wan nor a General Grievous in our collection yet).

Bought a 75105 from AWD recently, it said like new. Received today, found all mini figures are missing! :(

Bought the last set of 76028 Darkseid Invasion in Smyths toystore. i wasn't planning to ever buying this but at 50% off I had another look at it and reckoned by the time the JL movie comes out this set will be long gone and could have some interest. Anyway at 1/2 price you could get that back on the minifigures alone so worth a punt.

Some claim that AWD are verified for all pieces but that is clearly not the case...

Just bought 5 Lego Pirates Chess Sets (40158). They are on clearance at Lego right now. The past chess sets have had decent ROIs so it seems like a good deal.

This afternoon I spent some time smooshing CMF series 15 and bought 15 packs at RRP (2.99€).

I'm glad I didn't dismantle the farm yet as it acts as a nice backdrop.
