Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Open box, sealed bags Tumbler for $115, shipped (no tax). Really looking forward to building this one.

Pretty awesome, it's a solid beast.

 

Hit up a relatively light traffic Lego store at 7pm tonight and they had some good stuff in stock. RE, Red 5, IRex, LM, 5 armies all in stock. I did some damage and got 2 gingerbread houses.

 

1x simpson house

1x ferris wheel

1x PC

1x pet shop

2x ghostbuster car

5x GBH

RE is everywhere again!

Just ordered my first 2 75055 ISD from TRU.com for $175.29 after using $65 in rewards.

36 RE 

Got my SOH from AWD in the mail. Was described as "very good" but was still factory sealed with what I'd call minor creasing and denting. Not bad at all for $260 with 10% back.

Got lucky to get 16 towers on Thursday and just bought 2 more for $48. Still great average.  Last night I woke up at 4 am and decided to another  $100 on shop @home. Brainiac attack and Hydra force were available for couple minutes so bought 5 each. Was happy to see them pop back up.

That was obvious...I assumed that one wouldn't buy that many to build.  I was just questioning why go so deep on Chima in general and that set in particular.  Did you get a stellar price (i.e., TRU $0.03) or do you just think that is going to be the hottest thing next year?

No just a decent deal and I wholesale for the most part.  Got a text asking about them and worked out the deal.  Retired set with decent rank that I could offer out at decent price

Don't hate chima, the entire line is retiring, and there are some really cool sets in there. There will be plenty of winners if buy in is right and sellers are patient.

Went on a tour of BN in 2 states bought up all the UN with the 30% off coupon 10% membership  and $50 rolling GCs came out to $23 each.

That makes more sense...I was picturing you driving around to every TRU furiously buying them at $49.98, which wouldn't make a lick of sense.

ha, no not at all, just something that came about.  Anything at the right price is a good deal which I'm sure you know plus these type deals usually lead to more deals down the road which can become more beneficial.
