Yeah, I've lost a few cents on some Series 14 sales (hello zombie pirate), but don't mind since I'm small time and trying to hit that 25 transactions goal for holiday selling

I really like selling on Amazon - have had much more success than Ebay. But selling very small $ items like this is not very economical given their fee structure.

Like Hawkeye, I have made it a goal to hit 25 sales transactions on Amazon before 31 Oct.  I only started selling on Amazon at the beginning of Aug and have had 16 sales thus far, with 3 of them being since yesterday.  3 down, 22 more to go, LOL!  It doesn't help that none of my Amazon buyers have left feedback so I'm still considered a "New Seller".  I'm thankful though that I still get some sales regardless of not having any feedback on Amazon.

I am a Top Rated Seller on eBay and move pretty good volume there but Amazon is another beast that I do not want to miss the opportunity to sell my items on during the holidays.

I started last year around this time and sold merchant fullfilled and then I could not sell during the holidays unless through FBA and it was best thing that happened. Unless your selling just mini figures or really small sets it is so much better to try FBA. I lost so much profit because you can't control who buys your product so your paying 4-10$ shipping depending where you live but FBA you can get that number under a $1 per set and sell for more because most Amazon shoppers don't even look at products unless Prime shipping. Just some tips. But still good to get those 25 sales in.

they are 100% bonafide first editions.

i have already requested 9 replacement kits via 3 co-workers who have never ordered from shop at home and do not have VIP accounts. 

no risk no reward.

my personal vote for box of the year 2015.  so girthy and perfectly fills a 12x8x5.

do i think "first edition"  = more money - no probably not.

do i think Wall-E is broken as it is - not really - its not like there are any parts missing from the instructions - its a modification/improvement.

These are not selling for 80-115. They are selling for 70 to 80 from now on. The higher prices are gone now that it is more widely available. Shipping is going to run you $8-12. If you're happy with ~ $10-12 profits, then by all means, go get 'em. 50 x $12 is a good little chunk to go buy a DS and a R5...

I highly doubt these will be going for 70-80 during the holiday season of 2016. I have 5 of these and regardless of the neck issue, it's awesome build and posed just right on the shelf, looks amazing. I am keeping 4 for... not sure yet.

So to keep with the topic, I bought 2 more today which is included in my extra 4.

*note: I am bias as I graduated with a computer graphics major (Pixar being the holy grail of that major). 

I highly doubt these will be going for 70-80 during the holiday season of 2016. I have 5 of these and regardless of the neck issue, it's awesome build and posed just right on the shelf, looks amazing. I am keeping 4 for... not sure yet.

Oh, don't get me wrong - this is a great long term set I think. I'm not sure it will be gone by x-mas 2016 but probably x-mas 2017. Personally I'm going to wait until next summer to acquire these for about $40 a piece instead of the $45-48 I would need to pay today.

Agreed to all!!! I am still amazed that so many lay of the shelf at B&M. I bet I can still go back tomorrow after work and the 2 left would still be there. I just hope... all that bought in large quantities took 1 from that bunch to build. It's great for your personal display.

Now, lets hope they release an R2D2 at that size.

there is very strong international demand for Wall-E.  so far the 6 i have sold for $115 are all going to Asia.  once all the people happy making $12 sell out of their stock (which they will), then the price will rise again.  the big money question looking ahead to the holidays is can TLG get their act together and put out the updated version in time for xmas.  It will be difficult to obtain quantity of this set set via shop at home since it is limit 1 where they are for sale and have a feeling this will be under banhammer close scrutiny for resellers.
