Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Technically, it was yesterday, but I bought a Santa's Workshop (10245) off a guy in line for the Charlotte LEGO store grand opening for MSRP-ish. He was going to return it, but I needed one, so I offered him cash. Between making the deal, finding an ATM, and getting correct change he checked Bricklink and realized the (moderately) inflated value, so we split the difference, which I was totally cool with.

If he's reading this, thanks for the set!!  ...and well played.

I would buy every one I saw @ $99.

I've been on a minifigures kick for investment purposes lately.  Grabbed 2 complete sets of series 13, 1 set of simpsons series 2, and 2 sets of monsters series 14.

IIRC, there are only like 7 states with Meijers, so most of us don't get their ridiculous prices...

I think I may have said this before, but I have meijer stores all around me, and rarely do I find anything good. Clearance is ticketed at 15-25% max, and they have been deploying TRU like mark ups lately.

Also 2 x EEE and 2 x Sea Cows at RPP

Tried to buy 3 Episode 7 sets that were out on the shelves at a store near here. But I was denied. May have gotten someone in trouble.

One great thing about WM is their universal return policy, which is how I snagged a retired 9488 set for $9 on clearance a couple days ago.

Just bought a 10236, opened box, sealed bags, off ebay for $220----needed a builder and after eBay 10% gift cards it's less than $200 w/ no tax.  I only have 1 sealed so wanted to be sure to get a cheapo one to build---this suffices.
