Cannot believe that 41053 is already gone.  Was happy I got 1 from LEGO Shop at Home earlier in the month but I like the set so much I  just went ahead and purchased one from Amazon for twice the price....

Wrong numbers

4 boxes of series 4 mixels. About 130 total for 2.50 each at Wal-Mart.

Got 5 x Lego Movie Double Couch for €12.59 each on SAH, with 5 minifigures, that's not a bad price at all.

 

It´s gone now so that may have been a smart move - if the order is fulfilled.

Easier said than done. My stockpile/inventory just grows and grows. If only it was easy to sell sets as it is to buy them.

Two 60004 fire stations at $49 each. One to sell, one for the kids.

Grabbed a Galaxy Squad clearance set (70704) from Toys R Us just to get a free Gallimimus and ended up buying three more Gallimimuses on top of it at $3.99 each.

Local LEGO store got a new shipment over the weekend and had R5 and TB in stock for the first time in months.   Grabbed two of the TB.

Went to TRU. Used 20% off coupon + GCs to buy an IP, came with a GT polybag which I just flipped, making my OTD price on the IP = $89.10 (plus TRU points).

Then went to Lego B&M, used $20 VIP points to buy my first TB and flipped the WS polybag to make TB cost = $207.  Also picked up a PEE in the store for $7.98 + tax.

I got a used forbidden corridor (4706) that has everything minus the instruction manual and a couple small pieces and a NIB the chamber of winged keys (4704) together for $45 shipped on eBay. They're both for my personal collection but the big question that I'm debating is whether I should open it since its for me or flip it and buy a used one for cheaper

lol! This is what the boxes look like, they both have some creases so I don't know how much that'll effect the value if I try to sell it.

The asking price was around $425 and I redeemed ebay Bucks which made it around 325 and then with 4x ebay bucks I will be getting around $33 from that - so I feel like I paid around 300 even though the total came to just under $425.  I really have wanted the set and figured waiting any longer would just mean a higher price point so sooner rather than later.  And I think I will treasure this set just a little bit more because it's a special purchase/treat for myself.

just make sure that you are not counting the rewards while making a purchase and also while redeeming (like you are doing now). that's double counting the actual gain. once when you acquire the ebay bucks and second when you redeem it. { i am not saying you are doing that purposely, it just happens.  I used to do that too }

but now i don't count when i earn it but only count when i redeem it. that way i am not double counting it. and exaggerating the actual value of reward. as long as you are careful anything works
