couldn't let all this red 5 availability go unanswered.

4x red5 spread out over last 48 hours, orders only placed when showing IN STOCK availability at shop at home.  no new order placed until previous order had advanced to the IN WAREHOUSE state.  3 of 4 have shipped.  last one is in warehouse.  these were all to the same VIP account but each one went to someone different (wife and 3 kids).  these 4 are on top of the 2 orders i had placed earlier in May and early June which also shipped in the last 3 days.   banhammer monkey is asleep at the wheel or on summer sabbatical.

Was able to find some clearance Sentinels($35) and Knowhere Escapes($20) at Walmart.  App said they had some $45 Arctic Bases but no luck, and since then they have disappeared off the app so someone must have beat me to them.  Luckily they don't like Superheroes, but I really wanted a cheap Arctic Base to build.

Star Wars™ Kashyyyk Troopers from Kmart.  $6 after $5 bonus SYW points.  Used my 15% off Sears Paypal gift card to sweeten the deal even further.

I ordered this at 9:15am today and it already shipped.  It should get delivered tomorrow. For some reason Kmart treats me like a Prime+ customer.

I also picked up the last Sentinels set in my area. Was definitely hoping it fell down to $19 like the Knowhere Escape, but $35 will do. I was though, able to grab the last two Arctic Base sets for $45. And no, I didn't go to Nebraska to get them. Hope you end up finding a few.

No kidding.  Regardless, it's still 2 per household or per order as stated on their limit info tab, regardless of how you choose to differentiate names on the list.  If the product is sold to the same household, using the same credit cards and same VIP #, that account can still be eventually flagged as a reseller by simply showing they went over the limit.  While one might get away with that on certain sets, my guess is over time if you do that multiple times on multiple sets, it's going to catch up.  All this proves is that lego.com doesn't flag an order if someone has already purchased 2, but that doesn't stop them from running a query later and seeing all the VIP accounts or households that purchased over the limits.  So, those that wish to play with fire will eventually get burned, I think.  So, i'm going to continue to throw caution, and not purchase anymore of these through lego.com, since I already got my 2.  The only way to cheat the system is to pay in cash at a lego store and not use VIP.  Then there is just a cash transaction with no home address, VIP account, or credit card number attached.

found a sail barge (75020) at TRU today, priced at $119.99 (RRP).  since it was not a sale price I was able to use the 25% off coupon + 10% TRU (GC + TRUTH was denied...).  Ended up $80.99 + points, not bad for a big OT set that is retired, even if sales right now are kinda weak.  Hopping it will get to $150-160 with SW:FA and christmas, otherwise its a long term hold.

How is it possible to get boxes like these with the Lego logo?  Do you usually have to be a store that orders or something?  I don't want to know your hook up or how you did it, I'm just curious about the boxes.  As everyone else said, well done!!

I'm banned from buying anything significant until payday after grabbing 2 UCS X-wings, so for now, I present the newest member of my collection...

How is it possible to get boxes like these with the Lego logo?  Do you usually have to be a store that orders or something?  I don't want to know your hook up or how you did it, I'm just curious about the boxes.  As everyone else said, well done!!

I've been in retail stores when they've been stocking LEGO and just asked for a few boxes before they discard them.  They are nice for the large size sets for storage.

Yeah, they scanned the barcode right from my phone with no questions asked.  I didn't go through the checkout with a manager though.

My kid wants 75093 SW Final Duel for his birthday next week.  I've noticed it's disappearing from stores so I picked one up at Walmart a couple days ago at full price ($79 + tax) just in case I could do no better.  Then today... I'm driving by the only TRU in town (the one that NEVER stacks coupons, or partial pays on Thursdays or anything) and thought, "Let's just check it out... maybe I'll use the 25% off coupon...).  There was just the one sales person working up front... no checkout lines open... had to pay at the service desk.  I took my 75093 to the desk ($84.99 + tax)...

She: "Using your TRU credit card today?"

Me: "Yes I am!"

She: "OK... you saved 10%... thats $76.49 plus tax..."

Me: "Wait a minute... can I use this coupon on my phone... the barcode that says "Bold Arrow" above it?"

She: "Sure!... OK that's $57.37 plus tax... just swipe your credit card there..."

Me: <swipe> ... partial pay $10...  "I'd like to use this gift card on my phone, too..." (-14% more)

She: "No problem!"... <scan, click, click>... "Thank you for shopping today!"

So I'm out the door paying $50.65 plus tax. ... if I only had the balls to tack on the $5 off coupon, I could change my name to "exciter2"
