Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Technic Hot Rod 42022 at my TRU for $27. This is one set I will actualy want to put the stickers on.

No motor or power functions. I am going to try and put in one of the pullback motors I have from the 42011. That thing realy moves but is probably half the weight of the Hot Rod. Now to find the Cargo Plane 42025.

Sweet deal. I've see motors like that work before. If that would even just run the pistons I'd be getting one tonight

I got a Castle Calvary from Target at 30% off for my personal collection.  Happy.

They had stacks of Police Pursuit for $9.00 instead of $18.00 but I left them all.

I just do not see that as high $ flipping opportunity.

Over the past few days I've purchased:

10030 Star Destroyer, complete with instructions but no box - $345 shipped ($300 selling price plus $45 shipping/insurance)

and

10175 Vader's Tie Advanced, complete with instructions but no box - $195 shipped ($175 selling price plus $20 shipping/insurance)

...both from the same brand new, zero feedback Bricklink seller. Seller seems totally legit, pics look good...so either I've struck gold or I'm getting royally screwed (and I'll avail myself of Paypal's buyer protection). I'll find out in a couple days when the 10030 shipment is due to arrive.

I'm a bit leery because my previous "too good to be true" BL experience - a $250 used/complete 10019/Tantive IV - turned out to be a total mess, though I did ultimately get my money back. We'll see. Got my fingers crossed.

Wow I just sold a sealed 10175 for $550

Bought two Batcaves tonight, thanks to the Amazon BOGO.

 

Saves me from running to Walmart and trying there.

GE for $83 after VIP points.

I have been clearing out inventory, mainly small slow growing sets. I told myself I wouldn't buy more sets that I had no interest in owning. That didn't last long and now I have two Pirate Ambushes and two Batcaves on the way. Dang you Amazon!

Looks like I have my nephew covered for his bday and xmas. He loves his LEGO crazy uncle.

Picked up three Umbaran MHC's at Target for 50%. They didn't have the red clearance sticker but I scanned them anyway. Always scan!

Where did you find the Constitution Train Chases? I thought they'd been cleared out months ago. 

60021 Cargo Heliplane for $22.48

Stopped by TRU this afternoon armed w/ a $100 gift card (that I got for $65 on ebay a few weeks back after using ebay's $20 coupon), $15 in rewards certificates, a 25% coupon, and the 15% coupon.

 

Got a Benny's Spaceship and another MBA Inventions set (love the boxes for these sets).

 

After applying all the coupons (cashier had manager override the 15% b/c it wouldn't work on the MBA, so it got applied to Benny, in addition to the 25% already applied to Benny - thanks stupid TRU computers), rewards, and 10% for creditcards, total comes to $90.32.  Partial pay $1 on cc, 89.32 on my $100 gift card (x .65 = $58.06 out of pocket).

 

TL/DR--Benny Spaceship and MBA Invention for 59.06 out of pocket using combo of rewards, coupons, gift cards, and cc discounts.
