I bought one today, I had a $15 Amazon gift card sitting in my inbox from this really cool website, and Power Lex just happened to be exactly $15 with the free prime shipping. Used the affiliate link so they should get $.02 or $.03 back from the gift card.

Actually had some clearance sale luck today.

 

I bought two MBA Adventure Sets for 50% off.  Plus the 20% off coupon on one of them.  The only negative was that I completely forgot about the TRU GCs I had in my wallet.  I bought those from GiftCardMall on eBay a couple weeks back at 20% off.  Oops!

 

I also picked up a 5002113 Friends Beach Hammock.  They had one on the shelf, with no shelf tag.  I figured I'd check it out, and if it were more than a few dollars, I'd just throw it back.  Rang up for 1 cent!

 

I passed on the two MBA Inventor sets they had, although I'm kicking myself for passing up Lego at 50%.  I need to get back there and pick them up.  I also passed on the one Space Center set they had; the seals looked very suspect.

Just bought a Grand Emporium.  My first one.  It was time.

 

Since there was only an hour left until the Balloon Cart promo was over, and I really wanted another one, it was time.

Picked up a few tower bridges. Was getting worried cause walmart was out and target just changed its status to "currently unavailable online" within the last hour, so yeah, Went to tru and snapped up a few.

Nice set Ponyboy,  I got the  Volkswagen T1 Camper Van as it is also slowly Vanishing ....

Another big wekend after months of little action. I got the Jabba Sail Barge, Republic Gunship, AT-TE all on clearance price for 33% off plus the Battle of Smallville, Unexpected Gathering, and Cragger's ship for 50% off. On top of that I had a $10 additional discount for each set thanks to the weekend Target promo cards up here. These are all for personal enjoyment and I had been waiting for this kind of sale to get them. Cashiers were very nice about ringing each set through separately and using one discount card per transaction. These were all at Square One, which was the first time I've been there in some time. There were only 1 each of the latter 2 so I figured they may have been timely returns.

 

I was also at my favourite Real Canadian Superstore to see if there were any more Wolverine Chopper Showdowns after last week's bonanza. None of those but pretty good deals nonetheless. I got 6 each of the Endor and elite trooper vs commando droids battle packs for 50% off. Not sure if these will be for personal army building or for eventual resale but couldn't these up. I can see selling the endor sets with the Ewok village later on. I already have like 8 speeders going back to the original 2000 version. On top of that I got a mixed bag of other sets for 50% as well. Most I found on an unrelated aisle end next to the price checker. Apparently 50% wasn't good enough for whoever left them there. But I was happy to get a Lex Luthor vs Superman/WW, Loki and Hawkeye jeep, 2 Geonosian cannons, and a Yoda/501 trooper/ AT-RT for half off. 

My Triple-E just shipped from LEGO Shop at Home . It was my first order on LEGO Shop at Home back in April. 

Bought a SSD tonight.

Got 2 Guan Subs at Toys R Us at $42.99 each.

Two Back to the Future Delorean 21103 sets.  Super pumped!!!

Brought 2 SSD from my local LEGO store. Not sure if they will come out with a different version of the SSD, but for sure they aren't making any more of the current SSD.

I went to my Wally World to buy some pool chemicals. As always I had to check the lego aisle. I saw a lone bat cave sitting there with no tag. I scanned it on my phone. Nothing came up. I scanned it on the in store scanner. Again, nothing came up. I saw an employee scanning some items a few aisles away. She scanned it, and said it wasn't in the system anymore. If I wanted it she could mark it down to $35. Score! I asked if they had anymore. Sadly, they did not. I already have several of these bought around $50, which I feel was a good price. Getting one for $35 made my day.

TB ordered from ebay pawn shop for $210 shows up with some extra creases and dents in box not mentioned in description.

Notice that someone else has returned this TB too in the last week probably for same reason.

Asked for $60 discount or returning (with shipping at seller's expense).

Got $60 discount so even though missed out WM TB deal still got a nice dinged up sealed TB for only $150 no tax or shipping - yeehaw!

Made a 3 hr, 110 mile rush hour filled trip to the far away Lego store to panic buy some GEs. Worth it though, 3 minty boxes.

And I don't think anyone needs to be told this but store employees really don't know what's going on. My closer store has been out of GE for over a month and the employees have been telling me it's retired. The further store I went to today told me they had not seen any signs of retirement, and had the stock level to back that up.

On the other hand, all three stores in the area have been out of HH for months and that does seem a bit peculiar.

Grabbed 2 Corporate Alliance Tank Droids at $10 each and 2 more Escape from Mirkwood Spiders for $15 each from Walmart Clearance.

Utilized the ebay rewards offer going on now to pick up an Arkham Asylum for $130(in theory as you get the $ later)

 

It was an auction that added another 5% above BINs.  Watching a few others since today is the last day.
