I realize shipping costs are part of it but shipping ended up costing $60 and i paid half of that

Sorry....can someone please explain to me the benefit of using the cartwheel app?  I downloaded it.  I already have the Red Card.  Why not just order online?

Cardpool is another 10% for in store purchases...not online. That can be combined w red card as well.

Cardpool and cartwheel are two different things :-)

 

As long as we are talking about the cartwheel _app_, then it is a coupon 10% off toys and games, which is probably going to be valid only until end of week - it is not a permanent discount. Also, you have to "load" that coupon into your cartwheel app, for coupon to be recognized during in-store checkout.

LOTR eBay lot: 9471, 79008, 79003, 79002, 79001, 79000, 9476, 9470, 9469 for $150 (~3089 pieces, just under .05/piece).  All sets with the exception of 9470 are claimed to be complete. Might be missing 1 minfigure 41 for the lot should 42.  BP used value around $250.

 

Biggest risk is the seller is new with only one positive feedback.

1 Black Zero Escape and 1 Malibu Mansion, both 15% off at TRU, plus I had a coupon for $15 off of a $60 purchase. Came to $55 all in for the pair, so it was like getting the Superman set for free. I bought a Star Wars 7659 Imperial Landing Craft from 2007 almost MISB! Bought this and a 1380 Studio Werewolf (NISB) for 50 euro from my local "Craig's List".

 

Now I took a closer look at it I think I will keep it. What a nice set and box art! The older star wars sets were so much more nice. A shame I missed the boat on these as I was in my dark ages at that time.

So I went to Target to get some city sets or princesses or creator and when I was procastinating in the clearance I see this 2 big lego boxes VW T1 10220 with clearance steakers going for $86 in perfect condition. Grab them ask the employee if they have more and nothing shows up, she looks surprise the cashier as well but anyway apply the 10% ending today for cartwheel + 5% Target card. Good day I would say.
