Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

No luck at my Walmart or Target, but I checked out Ross and found 7345 Transport Chopper for $22.49 so I didn't feel like my trip was a total waste of time. 

9493 - XWing on clearance for $18.00.  Second one I bought and the first one was $45. 

Picked up 2x kingdoms Chess sets for $50 apiece.

Passed on AS for retail....anyone picking these up without any discounts?

Three Fallingwater at BN $63 each

Found 30112 Emma's Flower Stand, 30113 Stephanie's Bakery Stand and 30116 Rapunzel at the Marketplace.  Best part was they were on clearance.

After offloading a van load (67 in total) of ever-depreciating 41999s, I spent the proceeds on:

25x Mars Rovers (I now have 70)

9x Pet Shops (I now have 10)

11x Grand Emporiums (I now have 20)

My guess is this is retiring this summer. This set is very abundant around here but I've never seen it on clearance so maybe that is a good sign it is on its way out finally.

Here in Europe you will never find deals like that. People are already well educated when it comes to the value of (used) lego.

 

You can make a little fortune from that or just use and enjoy it yourself.

Thanks!  Plenty of luck, yes...  But also many days and nights spent on craigslist.com (not to mention Target, Walmart, Kmart, and Toys R Us both online and in-store) looking for lego deals!  

Today I bought 7881, 10220, and 21103. Can't wait to get them.

Wonder any words on Lego Movie new Batmobile!!!

I saw a Gorzan's Gorilla Striker in Wal-mart today for 25.00.

I returned some sheets my wife and I received for a wedding present that we didn't need and I got the set for 6.75.
