That`s great! Hopefully they do retire, which will mean more money quicker, but Falling Water will be a $250-$300 set on it`s own eventually, even if it`s still around for another year. It is a very popular building in real life, and pretty much anyone who is a fan of the Architecture line will want one.

I wasn't planning on it, but they pulled out a Lord Business Lair during the LEGO Movie activity event at Barnes and Noble this afternoon and with my kids club and member coupon stack I couldn't pass it up.

Large set with an exclusive main character minifig was a must for my own personal collection.

Crossing my fingers that the movie isn't god-awful...

Got lucky today in NJ. Open box 10188 with sealed interior boxes for $266. Someone returned it.

I finally went to fill up my pick a brick box yesterday. there wasn't that great a selection in my lego store. might try to sell through bricklink!

Did some Target shopping today

4 batwing 6863 for $34 each (seems to be the only place to still have these)

2 of lone ranger train 79111 for $79 each (meh about this set but figured may as well, hope to have it hit $140 then sell)

 

plus 5% off with my redcard

 

Now if I could find somewhere to match the MOM price that they have I'd be set.

"Afford" is a relative term... After selling, one re-buys, thus the endless cycle!  Anybody splitting their profits into half re-invest and half other non-Lego investments?

Managed to score a b-wing for $125 and a WVC for $75 NISB, from some guy that works in my building. Walked by the for sale message board in the lobby of my work, and low and behold this guy was selling Legos he got for Christmas he didn't want. I never thought a Monday would be this wonderful!!!

wow.. I'm aiming for 1/5th of that but that requires diversifying to flipping for things other than Lego.
