Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

Was at Wal Mart yesterday and picked up a Harry Potter Bus (set #4866) for 15.00......

I got six of them last year for 12.50. I found them at Shopko 75% off. (Shopko had them over priced for $50.)

Just bought the Winter Village Post Office set 10222 from Lego. They had a few left. Will this be a good investment?

Anything in the Winter Village series should do well!

Thanks!

Just bought star wars 9492 half price at searsonline in canada. sweet deal

I just got a childhood dream set of mine, 8448 Super Street Sensation :) . And since I've heard issues about the original batch of shocks used for the gullwing doors, I ordered a new pair off of bricklink.

I believe so. Besides the 'seasonal' aspect, they make very nice displays.

Just got 4 x Monster fighters Zombies 9465 for $NZ65 (that's $55 US). Hoping to turn a couple around for quick profits on Ebay.

Got a 10221 that was a Internet order returned to my local Walmart store for $214 after tax instead of $428. Box seals are popped but all white boxes except for the instructions are sealed. Instructions are untouched.

Haha yes indeed. I remember spending lots of time sitting on the couch drooling over that set in the catalog.

New member and new lego investor here. Just picked up my first set from amazon.com. LEGO Minecraft 21102 for $34.99 + tax + shipping = $40.49. Seems like I picked up the last one from them. They only have 3rd party sellers now. Lets just hope it arrives in good condition. I'm a bit worried about the box condition after reading around the forums.

Very good start buddy!!! In general smaller boxes are less prone to damage in my opinion so you should be good. Let's us know how it turns out. Also welcome to the site!

I will update with the condition of the box once I receive it. Look forward to meeting fellow investors on this site!

Amazon has about 16 of the Batman 76000 sets in stock right now. These are still super hard to find at retail. Order 2 and get free shipping. That's what I did!

Bought 2 of the new Horizon Express train, added power functions and now its zipping around my lego city. Looks great!

I get 9450 Epic Dragon Battle at 117 USD

Good finds at Barnes and Noble tonight. I got the following all 30% off plus 10% membership discount. 2x 7964 Star Wars Republic Frigate $75 2x 7961 Star Wars Darth Mauls Sith Infiltrator $44 1x 7931 Star Wars T-6 Jedi Shuttle $37

I bought Minecraft! Yee haw! Lol. Congrats to everyone else who got one (or two, or three). We took down 554 units in about 45 minutes!

Amazon, and it seems that there are still some in stock.

Picked up the Marvel Spider Cycle Chase and one of my holiday Pick-A-Brick boxes. The set is a really nice one and I filled the PAB box with 403 pieces. Decent haul today.

My unexpected gathering and 10 packs of series 5 minifigs came in the mail today from TRU. Unexpected gathering was in great condition and out of ten minifigs I only got one duplicate which was of the lizard man which was the main one I wanted. Great day. And also I feel to see what minifigs I have before I open them and my "feeling" technique for the minifigs was 100 percent correct today.

just ordered 10 imperial shuttles from amazon. came out to be about 2300$
