Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Scored some $45 elf clubs and other half off sets

Several were marked right there and then in my presence. Then I was thanked for clearing some shelf space.

You could look at your seal codes and see if they are from earlier in 2009 and that would increase your chances. If they are 2010 or 2011 then leave it sealed. 
 

Set 6212 as well I believe.

Drove home from Michigan today, took a nap and then opened up Facebook Marketplace and saw this listing for $20:

Now, if you look beyond the dust and the plane, there is a wall so I instantly offered to buy it, dust and all! Then while waiting for a response I confirmed what I suspected on Bricklink. That is Green Grocer for $20.

Paid more for the Akro-Mils sorting cabinet ($33 or so on Prime day)! I washed, sorted and catalogued all the pieces into a Bricklink list and I'm just missing 45 common parts and two minifigures (which can be made from very common parts luckily). Here you can see I've remade the top hat man with a derby hat and silly bouncy legs.

It's missing the Feathery Bit, this little chimney, and this pram. Nothing my collection can't provide, thankfully.

 

A set of Mario minifigs, my son is looking forward to building them tonight and over the next few days.

Is anyone buying the castle tonight at 12EST??  Will there be a GWP?

looks like in England and Germany 3 hours past midnight and the castle is still in stock

as a matter of factor almost everything new is in stock in the USA except the lego store and disney mansion

makes me think inflation is starting to hit on lego

I'm looking forward to this set. I'll cash in some vip points to ease the cost and pick one up Tonight. unsure if there will be GWP but I have a few Forest hideouts already.  I'm not convinced this will sell out extra fast.

Castle live at xx:57.  No queue, no issue, no GWP.  Checked out before midnight ET. 

Easy peasy.

Can't justify the $400 spend with no promos going, gonna wait until there are some GWP or 2x VIP. Was able to grab another forestmen yesterday at my local store when.

Limit 3 in UK

Hard pass on this wonderful set until LEGO edges me a bit more.

I really want to buy the castle today, but I have taught myself to only buy with a GWP. So no Forestmen set = no castle. Hopefully something good comes around soon.

Dinos arriving from the Big Lots sale. Yesterday's sets on top of today's arrivals. Awaiting more Rex's.

In my experience, Big Lots always ships in boxes. Apparently they reuse boxes, or are shipping direct from retail locations now.

Not LEGO but, Hasbro.

Zavvi UK had the Haslab Razer Crest on sale for around an hour this morning. I grabbed one for my personal collection. I've been half considering getting one off eBay so I'm very happy to pay a reasonable price for one. Just got to hope that the order isn't cancelled now.

My assumption is that they received a few returns or some people had cards declined after the deadline date. Assuming it arrives, I'll definitely check that the correct carded figures and so on are in the box.
