Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

Most large UK supermarkets now have scan & pack so you know the price as soon as the item goes into your trolley. I often scan all the LEGO sets in my local Sainsburys to see if there's any gems as the prices on the shelves often differ. This is how I get most of my CITY vehicles at -60% or less. I'll be doing the same in the morning when I do the weekly shop.

I've seen tesco doing this but no luck with sainsburys in my neck of the woods yet. I usually have to take a set to the self service till, scan and cancel if it's not at rumoured low price.  They are pretty lax with updating shelf pricing and have found a few bargains but a handheld scanner would make life sooo much easier.

Keeping on topic I bought and built Krennics Shuttle last night. Nice display model but I can imagine kids breaking bits off a lot if used for play.  No straightforward place to hold it.

Seriously tempted to sell all the R1 minifigs I have and just keep the models based on current selling prices.

I'm really jealous of you! If only I could get such great deals here in The Netherlands. Oh well.... we all are making do with the means available to you. :P

So, I ordered the 10218 Pet Shop from Amazon last week when it was 20% off.  Amazon sent it to me yesterday. Box was damaged and had a tear through the middle. Needless to say, I was LE SAD.

This morning, I just got another 10218 Pet Shop. Just checked my credit card and everything. I ordered just one.  Best. Buying. Decision. EVER.

Amazon has a return reason option for when they accidentally send you more than you ordered. That way you can keep your second one (assuming it's mint) and return the slashed one. "Received extra item I didn't buy (no refund needed)". Hint.

Yes, good thing was that the 10% Payback was a direct discount. But I really thought they cancle that order.

Seems to me that they softened their former stright ban policy.

I know the 3in1 sets don't get much love but I enjoy building them with my kids, bought 31025 for £25.

My acquisitions during last two months (all in €).
Shipping fees and other charges are already included in the acquisition price.
To afford it I sold 18 used, but 100% complete Lego Space Classic sets, and following MISB sets for 1250€:  Hogwarts Castle 4842, WVM 10235 & JSF 75038, 9463 & 40221.

Income: 1250€
Expense: 2800€
VIP Points: approx. 500-1000
Needed sets: 425€

My wife is "not amused" about my hobby... :S *lol*

After last months blowout with offers everywhere I've been quiet so far this month only buying for personal build

Full set of Rogue One Vehicles. (May sell the minifigs though)

Parisian Restaurant. The next oldest modular I didn't have, just covering any surprise retirements.

I'm having to hold off on a few personal build purchases so people have things to buy me at xmas. Damn frustrating as i want to build the Caterham now.

They can be quite lucrative to sell which is why I've bought them in multiples of 3. I was selling 3x 31005 Contruction Haulers at a time for £42 last year (cost me £12 - £4 each at Tesco). It all started when buyers emailed me back asking, "Do you have another 2 of these sets?". A bit naughty but, I just posted them after payment to avoid fees ;-)

BTW... Boots are trying to source dry Advent Calendars to replace the soaked shipment so, I've only asked for a couple as presents, not the job lot!

Same here. Bought 6 @amazon.fr. Were shipped from a german Amazon Warehouse.

Stopped into my favorite Walmart on my way home today. Found another indominus Rex 75919 for $30 in the clearance section. App and tracker show the $30 price but no stock.

Of course it was stuck in between about 8 of those Maula's Ice Mammoth Stomper still in the clearance aisle for $89.97.
