Over the last week I sourced out some modulars to build to complete my block.  Prices in US funds, as always.

Palace Cinema - $110, no box
Detective's Office - $115, complete with box
Parisian Restaurant and Holiday Train from the Lego store - $144 and $40 earned in VIP points. 

I have built the cinema before but not the other two so I look forward to a nice drink and building session.

Affordable prices, must say.

Scored at local Walmart today.  Found 10x 10695 Creative Building Box for $15/each.

I own one complete sealed box of series 14 minifigs to sell it later on as I think this is a great series. So if tiger woman appreciates that much I guess people will want to buy that box even more.

I was at my local Lego store and visited the clearance table. I would like to know others thoughts on purchasing a Tumbler with a damaged box, hole the size of a golf ball in upper back of box for resale.  The double VIP, 500 VIP points for the damage and the train would have cost me $212 including tax at the register with a $45 credit on my VIP card. Worth it?

Absolutely, the front tires alone are worth $25+ each. Ditch the box, and part it out.

Was in Walmart to pick up some other stuff.  So I took a quick look at the LEGO 1 DA with a crushed box (asked if I could get a discount because of the damage and they reduced it to $27) and a series 2 minifig for 3.37. (It was right on top of the the curent ones.)

Good deal! I bought a Fire Brigade from someone at work today for $300.00! Today is FB day!

Wall e finally showed up at my TRU. There were only 3 so I grabbed one. Left my $10 coupon at home though, doh! Threw in a polybag for 5.99 and was able to hit the $75 threshold to get the TRU Bricktober set. I wanted to stack promos and get the hulk polybag too but my store didn't even receive them!

The prices are very good. I think you will not find them at these prices again. You just need some patience before they retire.

LOL, you never know - I got rumbled last week somehow!

Of course, I'll give him the £169.99 also not "just" the beer. A good deal for him as he gets 2xVIP, beer (very important!) and Quidco cashback.

There's always a way around the ban hammer!
