Yeah, I saw the cockpit canopy right off, the Leia and Obi-Wan confirmed it in my mind, along with the gray helmet and all of the wedges. I assumed that a large portion of the set would be there, but I expected a bit more would be missing.

Just been into my local Debenhams and saw some series 1 mixels just sitting there (about half a case)!! Needless to say I took them straight to the till and out of curiosity asked if they had any more. They popped out the back and came out with a nearly full case!

So Ive just got 3 complete sets of 9, 3 complete sets of red and four odd for £111 . They also let me take the display case. How many sets of mixels come in a display case, any one know?

Just to sweeten the deal they also had a near fresh case of series 13 MF so I did a quick smoosh and got all 3 hotdog guys (up to 14 of these now)

Also bought star wars Advent calender these seem to be hard to find at retail at the moment.

 

Mixels are 30 in a case. 3 complete sets and then 1 extra set of one color. I'm pretty sure Series 1 the extra set was Red.

I also and hate doing it felt for some Hotdog guys and managed to find two of them, luckily they were on a random corner at the end of a shelf, so I think nobody spotted me doing it

I bought a city space set starter pack for myself and a few mixels and minifigures.

So I've been buying used lots with sets my wife and I want, building everything, and then selling the rest to recoup some cash, coming out ahead, at the very least, factoring what we would've spent on what we kept. Perhaps when I've been watching you guys play the game long enough and have the capital I'll jump in. But for the time being I just wanted to share this: I bought a lot with a very apparent non-original-3 retired modular in it for the price of a used copy of the modular. Based on the description I was given, it sounded like there may be another in the lot, along with some other smaller sets. Received it today. Sure enough, had a couple "modern era" retired modulars, a couple more sets went for $100ish retail and oh what's a Darth Vader doing in here? What sets does this one appear in? I looked at the pieces spread out across the table and realized I also received a Super Star Destroyer!! Needless to say I was elated and have since been threatening the wife that I'm going to hover it over our modular city hahah TBD on keep, hold, sell. : D

A lonely airport fire truck (60061) from TRU, for $13.50.  not sure where they have been storing these for the past 2 years but it was mint with a 36R3 code.  I did notice them on TRU@Ebay as well for $28 right now.

Will get a couple technic rc volvo front loaders today as well.  I just freed up 1000 square feet so I'm good to go for another couple years! Lol.
