Alright everyone so I finally finished my $400 ucs millennium falcon (10179) and boy it was by far one of the most stressful builds that I've ever done, But the end result was worth it lol and it was only missing a handful of pieces, the Han solo and Chewie minifgs as well as the stickers so I definitely lucked out! Now All I have to do is inventory and build the ucs Batmobile (7784) that the seller threw in for free with the falcon

I bought three 60057 Camper Vans that were on clearance at Target for $9.98 each, marked down from $19.99. I don't normally invest in City, but for 50% off I thought what the hell.

Yep. Lunch break run just to see what was there. They had Lego Movie Melting Rooms last week for $9 and some change and I wanted to see if they were still there and maybe even marked down lower. I sent you a PM about it.

I just bit on 42038 Technic Arctic Truck and 8293 Technic power functions set. This marks the end of my Spring 2015 shopping spree.

3x Birds 21301. I usually clean out my local TRU on 10% Thursday whenever this set is in stock. Would like to have 50x of this by EOL.

My son had the older iteration, 7639, and it was a fun set. Surf board instead of canoe and all that... Originally $16.99 MSRP in 2009, 7639 goes for about $35 now.

 

So yeah, no one will get rich with City, but I plan to keep one for the youngest son (now 3) and make $5-10 each on the others if I can around Christmas. I put most of my investment dollars in big exclusives or other "collectible" themes (Ideas, Minecraft, Architecture), but a few entry level items are nice to have up on eBay.

Neither do I.  I'm on the slow-accumulation plan.  As an Ideas set, I'm expecting the normal 9 month +/- lifetime, EOL perhaps sometime this fall.

I just got my Lego Fire Brigade from ebay paid $330 including shipping.  Its for my sealed Modular collection.

I didn't see any sign of EOL on Birds 21301.

He's trying to get 50...I also wouldn't expect Birds to be around as long as licensed Ideas sets.

Look up sold listing of FB 10197 on March 20.  Thats me buying at $330 including shipping for BIN.  I think I bought it within a few minutes of the listing. 

4 x 60057 Camper Van sets from Target... US$9.98 each. For once, the Target Inventory thingie worked for me!
