Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Today's Target hauls included ...

4x ninjago city $65

5x lake town chase $16

5x mutation chamber $13

1x rawket $20

2x toxikita $20

Left a lot more mutation chambers on the shelf and wondering if I should clean them out. Not too familiar with the villain in this set so I'm being cautious.

Also left a pile of snowmobiles and various UA sets. Maybe they'll get to 70% and then I'll bite.

Jealous of all the clearance sets you guys are finding. None to be had at my local Targets or Walmarts. I did drop by a used kids stuff store and they had S13 CMF's. I finally found my first Hot Dog Guy!

Where was the Lonely Mountain from? Lego B&M?

Two Red Fives. They had about 8. Limit was 2. I asked if they had any "minty fresh" ones in the back and they said "no, that's all we have." Once I revealed I wanted duplicates and refused VIP and paid with cash, they treated me like a criminal. No smiles, no thank you or come back again. I didn't want to risk a ban or have them run out of Red 5 before I could make it back tomorrow. I sacrificed a few bucks but if these are the last ones off the line I'm a happy Brickpicker.

It should be fun to see if the same workers will be there tomorrow.

I've done it with clearance stuff, the key is to go late in the day and then hit them the next morning. Hopefully the poor saps that closed aren't also forced to open the store. 

It may be due to the fact that I haven't ever seen them in person to compare, but I stand by my original statement that they look fairly similar.

So, the 10231 that I built is still in the moving box from 3 years ago, but 60080 strikes me as extremely similar.

I've been lucky and found 5x 9471 Uruk-Hai Army.

Backordered a PC with double VIP from SAH, also backordered the cheapest elves set to get the free poly bag.  My first PC, happy I waited for double VIP and mostly happy I waited to have more money.

Sod it! I gave in and bought 5x Sea Cow with 2x VIP. I was going to get the Palace Cinemas also but, they've not been around long.

2x ToO and an OOS $9.99 elf set.

Bought a PS at LEGO Shop at Home. Not brave enough to try for more x wings.

Picked em up for a decent price, 6211 has a contoured box, thats pretty neat.

Awesome sets! I have the 6211 ISD myself and I love it. I always wanted the MTT, but I never got around to buying one.
