Found a store that time forgot that had 3x 30028 that rang up at $0 a piece, 1x 41001 at $9.99 and 1x 10656 at $9.99.

Just bought one winter village Post Office and a WV Cottage 100% complete,with boxes and instructions for 140 usd shipped

And you would not believe where these sets are coming from.... a collector in Cancun, Mx.....

Just picked up two of the Treehouse sets for 20.66 from Amazon.

42025, 75051 (damaged but sealed box), 42038, 75043. One of each, total $150. 70106 (damaged box with 1 seal open), 21118, 31025, 60035, 60036 all five $195.

Picked up at WM.

Bought a Birds

Apparently a Barnes and Noble about 100 miles away still has 21007 Rockefeller Center. I placed a pick up in store order for 5 and got a confirmation text. They had 21106 Nether too so I then placed an order for some of those. Got the confirmation text again. So then I picked up some 22% B&****** gcs to pay for it all and I have myself a road trip this weekend.

Now that's dedication

Went to a huge semi-annual consignment sale with my wife this afternoon and found a used 4708: Hogwarts Express in the box. ($50)

Couldn't believe it.

Opened the box to check contents before buying and set was partially put together in excellent condition with no dust build up. Instructions were also in the box and looked like they'd never been used.

Needless to say I put in an inquiry about getting in touch with the consignor to see if they had any other sets they needed to get rid of.

Nice find! Don't know about you, but I've always found when I actively seek out yard sales or estate sales, I never find anything good. It's always the ones you randomly run into or go just because a friend or significant other is going.

Very true. I was expecting to find a bunch of over priced "missing parts" sets. (which I did) There was a microfighter clone turbo tank in the original box for $4. I opened it up and sure enough, just the minifig was missing. Also found a complete 9493 @ $40, but I didn't buy it. For the amount of stuff that is in this place there was a very small amount of legos there.

Finding the Lion Chi Temple in the wild at this moment in time was an unique experience. At least in Europe.
