Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what w

Everything is awesome today :P I got a misb super cycle chase (70808) for $26 shipped, a misb bad cop's pursuit (70802) for $15 shipped, and a metalbeards duel (70807) for $17.50 shipped

Quite a few more modulars this week.  2x PS and 1x PC and PR off Amazon, 2x PS and PC from LEGO Shop at Home.  4x 4204 (The Mine) and 4203 (Excavator) from TRU w/stacked discounts.  5x Birds (3x TRU; 2x Amazon).

So, a question for the old-timers?  My goal amount on Birds is high (I'd like at least 50 of these sets, would prefer to have 100 stocked away).  I'm doing the slow-and-steady, with my preferred route via TRU (especially, in-store on Thursdays w/10%).  Next would be Amazon, 2x at a time so not to violate limits.  I'm really, really reluctant to order any more off LEGO Shop at Home, since I've already gotten 5 from them.  Any other suggestions for socking away a large inventory of the same set?

I had a bit of a lengthy discussion with a Lego CS rep from LEGO Shop at Home.  I had a EEE with a big hole that sent to me.  I called up for a replacement, and asked about limits.  Came right-out and said I didn't want to risk a ban.  She asked why I wanted so many of the same set, I said I liked the brick color for my various MOCs.  Anyway, the general view she said was to stay under the limits for multiple sets.  For example, I had already ordered 3 PC off LEGO Shop at Home.   I asked, how many more can I order without any issues, and she said up to a total of 5.  Who knows what this means, it's just FYI, but interesting, none-the-less.

I would just keep up the TRU Thursday route you are going. Seeing you started early you should be able to hit your numbers. Keep an eye on WM if they get stock as they may discount down the road like they did on BTTF.

We're those the polybags? How did you get so many? I can never find them around here.

Yes the polys. They held them back so long for giveaways then put them all out a few months later. For about a month they sat there and then just sold out over the last week or 2. They had slowed down sales wise so i would just pick up 20-50 each week depending on store which didn't put a dent in them. Then they picked back up and now they are gone.

ordered 70809 Lord Business' Evil Lair from WM mobile site for $35 and actually got the confirmation email. Upon pick up, there's a hand written note on another Lego Movie box by management explaining they didn't have the original set, but had a "comparable replacement:" that being 70815 Super Secret Police Dropship, with a refund available if desired. Considering the +$10 MSRP bump, I happily walk out. Must be all that positive WM karma having worked there for 3 years. Anybody have a similar experience?

I picked up my $60 Walmart MASSIVE stickers on the box UCS CHIMA Flying Phoenix Fire Temple. It goes in the to be built pile.

Actually a pretty cool build. Especially because the temple transforms into the Phoenix
