Payback for all those wonderful clearance deals you guys have been finding... heh. We also take team sports WAY too seriously when the name Team Canada is attached.

Seriously though, the picture didn't seem that big when I snagged it from google. :)

Got a $99 Cargo Train (I also bought one for 160 to part out). I wasn't going to post this but I had to 1up a fellow Canuck. :)

Ex Astris, Scientia.

Observed someone I hope is not from this forum pay cash, refuse vip card, and 100% telegraph they were a reseller at my nearby Lego store.

Picked up a Castle.

Quite a few more modulars this week.  2x PS and 1x PC and PR off Amazon, 2x PS and PC from LEGO Shop at Home.  4x 4204 (The Mine) and 4203 (Excavator) from TRU w/stacked discounts.  5x Birds (3x TRU; 2x Amazon).

So, a question for the old-timers?  My goal amount on Birds is high (I'd like at least 50 of these sets, would prefer to have 100 stocked away).  I'm doing the slow-and-steady, with my preferred route via TRU (especially, in-store on Thursdays w/10%).  Next would be Amazon, 2x at a time so not to violate limits.  I'm really, really reluctant to order any more off LEGO Shop at Home, since I've already gotten 5 from them.  Any other suggestions for socking away a large inventory of the same set?

I had a bit of a lengthy discussion with a Lego CS rep from LEGO Shop at Home.  I had a EEE with a big hole that sent to me.  I called up for a replacement, and asked about limits.  Came right-out and said I didn't want to risk a ban.  She asked why I wanted so many of the same set, I said I liked the brick color for my various MOCs.  Anyway, the general view she said was to stay under the limits for multiple sets.  For example, I had already ordered 3 PC off LEGO Shop at Home.   I asked, how many more can I order without any issues, and she said up to a total of 5.  Who knows what this means, it's just FYI, but interesting, none-the-less.
