Picked up the 10218 Pet Shop today. Between a gift card and some VIP points I got it for $126 after tax.

Stopped by one of my local LEGO Stores today and they had the City, Friends and Star Wars Advent Calendars on the shelves.  I bought one Star Wars Advent Calendar.

I just scored my first architecture set! I got a like new Sydney opera house with a mint condition box and manual for $15 shipped on eBay :D

I bought 2 Pet Shops, 2 Palace Cinemas and a Tower Bridge

I picked up two 79008 (Pirate Ambush Ship) for $74 each at Walmart.

I bought 2 Grand Emporiums and a Maersk Ship all at retail.  Includes 3 mini mini MINI Coopers, and 3 Chima polys.

Eventhough my wife put the banhammer on me, I managed to buy the following today:

Managed to track down a store that had Jabba's Palace 9516 on the shelf for retail price, so brought 2 and shall be going back for a 3rd set.

I got a misb mirkwood elf army (79012) for $15 shipped

I popped into Wal-Mart where I've been watching some older sets for discounts. They have an entire 2-sided isle of legos marked down and an additional 50% off the marked price. I spent $2000, but scored 10 Lego 9398 for $45 each; 3 Millenium Falcons for $32 each; SW Jek 14 $15 each; and 5 Goblin Attack Sets for $22 each. I also grabbed a bunch of smaller sets for kid's Christmas gifts. I broke the bank, but I'm set for Christmas selling. The only set I left behind was TMNT Shell Raiser. I figure if they have to discount them when the new movie just came out than TMNT must be a loser. Now I have to bust the blow dryer to pull off the clearance stickers without damaging the sets.

Thanks! I was shaking when I loaded the sets into 4 very full carts. Associates were taking Falcons fresh from the boxes and marking them with clearance stickers. I asked them to just just put them into my cart. I tried to leave as fast as I could because I felt like somebody was going to say they were kidding and hadn't meant to mark thing down. I never use my credit card, but I did for this one. I couldn't help myself. I do have a couple of Chima sets that could be a gamble, but they were just so cheap.

I'll work on a pic - I'm trying to fit them into my garage right now. We've had 9398 and other large sets very randomly for the last couple of years. Has anyone else called/visited their Wal-Mart? If other stores have the same sale, I'm going shopping again tomorrow.

Did your store show the same prices on the walmart ap? I havent gone to any recently because the walmart ap shows prices that are not worth buying.
