Just like the title asks, what LEGO set did you buy today?

I bought the 4184 POTC Black Pearl.

Oh and I got the grand opening minifigure set which consisted of all male figures, one official with a metal detector, a civilian with a camera, and a farmer with a shovel!

 

I am glad I went Saturday and got the store build. I ended up getting the Sea Cow.

 

When I went to the store there was way too many people. These kids should be playing outside, and not be inside a mall.

Got the LEGO City Helicopter Rescue for retail, and also the LEGO Castle Gold Getaway at Wal-Mart for 7 US! Didn't pick up another Gatehouse Raid set though, already had 2, but they were one heck of a deal at 10 US.

I bought a 79111 Constitution Train Chase during lunchtime. Was the last they had on the shelf. Somehow I think this baby will go up in value once it is totally dried up. I got 2 red droid's for free as well with the purchase. win win!

Took a break and went to a Lego store...was planning to pick up Tower Bridge but decided/hoping it'll stay around until the next 2-3x vip promo in the fall.  The PS, VW, and GE were tempting too but my credit could use the break so I didn't but any big sets.

 

They had box cut-outs of DS and SSD on the shelf so don't know if it's sold out at this store or they have some in the back still.  Didn't bother asking the newbie staff. 

 

Purchased Friends Pets (penguin) for free Bakery Stand, photo frame and pencil holder on sale.

Probably the last Helms Deep in any store! Paid $95 for it after tax using a coupon at a mom and pop type of toy store. The clerk said the only reason they still had one set left was a worker found it hidden over the weekend. Lucky for me!

Why?

Simply because I had watched for discounts for over 7 or so months, and couldn't find a sale at all, so just pulled the trigger on it. Good little set, plan to buy another one and get to work on my semi-modular hospital. When completed, it'll open up like the Haunted/Simpsons House, but'll be on 2 half baseplates.

Where's the obligatory gun rack? And no tauntaun strapped down across the hood?
