79002 Attack of the Wargs for $10 from Walmart.

I just saw some of these on clearance at one of my Shopkos for $47.99, what a steal.

Picked up a Mars Rover from LEGO Shop at Home.  Wanted one for the personal collection and since supply has been spotty figured I'd better hurry and jump.

The box wasn't in the greatest condition.  One of the corners smashed and there was a crease along the front.  It was marked at $47.97.  I took it to the scanner and it came up at $10.  For that price I couldn't care less what the box condition was.

I bought (3) 21104 Mars Rovers yesterday from LEGO Shop at Home.  I bought a 10225 R2-D2 from my local LEGO store today.

Picked up 3x Technic 8041 for $25 & 3x Dino 5888 for $23 each.

Used Millenium falcon for $1100

three City Series cargo trucks

and  a flatbed truck from the city series

craigslist deal 10129 rebel snowspeeder with box, 4502 x wing fighter with box, 4504 millenium falcon, and 7262 tie fighter/y wing.  All for $450.  

I bought a Sopwith Camel at the local Lego Store and they still have Martian Manhunter and then picked up a T1 VW Camper brand new on Craigslist for $100 cash.  My Lego store was out of the T1.

Cover the studs with flat 1x2 and 1x4 tiles. Add Oracle ABL LED lighting and possibly add a motor once I see what the resistance of the treads are

I don't know if it will come in, but online Target down here in Australia had Diagon Alley appear as in stock. Only able to add one to my cart (then went to sold out). It was 20% of retail, so picked it up for $103.20 AUD. I am waiting for a notification to say "whoops, that is not available," but we'll see. Good score if it does get shipped.

My purchase from ebay of a winter toy shop, bakery and post office arrived and it looks like everything is there - I have a group of us preparing to build them tomorrow and this may be my best use of $170 in a long time.

Not Star wars or Hobbit  but I don't think I can go wrong with City sets between 25 and 30% off and Chima at 40 to 50% off is worth a shot as well.
