  • Here you go. Are likes important? ^^ Anyway, I find it interesting that the City Vulcan sets are also seem to be done. They are from last year, so they are not really that old. Did a pretty good

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

It was marked as retiring and OOS on Lego GB. Only a handful of retailers here even sold it & they are all OOS.
I’m hoping that’s it but who knows anymore with the tricks Lego play us.

The beetles should have been stocked up 6 months ago when it was still relatively abundant and cheap.

Many investors in Russia are sweeping away the Hidden Side series. 70435 70437 and are sold with a 100% markup already. Many sets are sold out, 70420, 70422, 70423, 70425. What are your thoughts on this series???

These were rarely on sale in Canada.  20% off was best I saw and not in the last six months.  If I see any at RRP now, I am grabbing them.   I have a feeling this will do ok post retirement.   Hopefully, not as hoarded as T1

Is the Beetle going to retire?  Heard it was and then it may not be?

Was this your source? I dont think its accurate. I cant even find the beetle on the EU lego websites.

I looked also today, cannot even find it listed anymore on Lego GB. It’s not showing up in Google search for Lego here so think it’s gone.

strange thing JL has not marked it gone & not coming back, only OOS but this could just be admin being slow!

VW Beetle was listed as Retiring Soon several weeks ago at Lego UK.  Quickly sold out and was removed from the website.  I think it's gone...

Where do JL find this extra stock. Are they customer returns as Lego back orders April 21?

Just watched that vid. Got to love their investment price predictions e.g: 20-70%. I wouldn’t want them as my hedge fund management 😅

I’m very new to this. Are you saying they are low or high in their predictions??

i just don't get the logic in these people who do these youtube videos or lego investing / flipping twitters etc they are just inviting market saturation,

"hey everyone quite your job & buy these sets..."

2022 - "why are so many of XXXXX on ebay its been years"

I wouldn’t trust anyone’s predictions who state somewhere between 20-70% range.

Who even knows if the guy invests in Lego himself? he s just trying to get people to watch his videos. That's his hustle, he may not care about over saturating our market.

This channel in particular confounds me as to Jim's motives. He gives great advice and is a great resource for beginners, and his picks are decent also imo. I just dont get what he wants. Is it only for the patreon revenue? The youtoube hits arent close to being moneymakers.

exactly, revenue from the channel will be pennies. i just don't get it.

you could argue its what we are doing on this forum, but we are already in the game, i just cant get my head around broadcasting it for more people to flood the market.
