Could of had these at 20 percent not to long ago but wasn't 100 percent on it going. 

Is this set worth the retail price for investment. I doubt it will be here for the Christmas promo etc.

i snagged 5 from JL @ 20%, should have gone on heavier. the VW collectors are freaks...

I just wasn't sure it was going or I would of bought a few. 

I doubt there will be another sale on them, I see it disappearing fast now the tags on it. Apparently it's also not being made anymore. Hmm are you going to buy some more at retail? 

The VW is iconic and had a shelf life similar to the mini which is doing quite well now. I managed to get hold of the numbers I wanted a few months back when news was out. I'm afraid discounts will be hard to come by now and you can only buy at retail. I was lucky enough to pick up 2 more last week at 20% off with free diagon alleys 40289.

What are folks thoughts on the Flintstones set?  Seems like there's a decent deal now at close to 40% off MSRP at Target, if you PM Walmart and include the $10 GC.  Do folks think this is as good a deal as we're going to get?  Interested in purchasing 2 for personal build but not sure if it may be one to hit 50%+ discount later.  Is this set retiring soon?  I feel like I've seen comments on this before but couldn't quickly find them so apologies for the redundancy

I think it will do well but I don't see it doing as well as Central Perk. Compare the universe of Friends fans to Flintstones fans.

I recently bought some Central Perks and ignored Flintstones and Mickey's Steamboat (although I may eventually grab some steamboats).
