March 28, 20196 yr I expect retiring this year after 3.5 years life, what is more than average. But - its a that kind of set, which life can be special - so I am giving just 50% on retiring this year. It can easy live next year, another year, etc. So it is very risky to buy it without "retiring soon" notice...
March 28, 20196 yr If and when it retires, I expect a re-vamp a couple of months later with a new Mickey mini-fig headpiece an added blue brick separator and labeled UCS. RRP: $800
March 28, 20196 yr where did that tabby retiring thread go, didn't he want his account deleting 31 March ? ?
March 28, 20196 yr Rumor is castle is going sooner then later... last update was 12/31/20 from the extension last year, but could always move up a year, won't know for a few months for sure
March 28, 20196 yr Now is a good time to buy with 2x VIP. I doubt this set gets discounted even with retirement potentially looming.
March 28, 20196 yr This set will be discounted for sure, just have to wait. It will not retire for at least 2 more years. I would not touch this set even with 25% discount, the risk is too big. Also huge box to store.

March 28, 20196 yr T1, Tower Bridge, and Disney Castle? Alex, I’ll take “sets that won’t retire during this century” for $2000.
