A reminder that the list here isn't exhaustive. Other sets have been tagged since.

It isn't retiring this year. My guess is that it will retire at the end of next year. Out of sequence again, but it is expensive and so probably won't be selling in the same quantities as cheaper modulars. I could be completely wrong though.

thanks for your response...sounds like I have ayear or two before it gets prohibitively expensive...looks like the best I could hope for is a double VIP pts day...maybe a BF LEGO Shop at Home 30% off next year.

  • Here you go. Are likes important? ^^ Anyway, I find it interesting that the City Vulcan sets are also seem to be done. They are from last year, so they are not really that old. Did a pretty good

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

Retiring Soon does not mean that production has stopped. I've seen seal codes dated after tagging. The tag can also be removed if sales pick up. Retired Product too for that matte and this is probably why there's an Add To Wishlist button. I don't sell a thing until it's been gone at least 6 months. This also gets most of the QFLL riffraff out of the way too!

I expect a lot of tags to hang around for most of 2019, TB especially as there so much stock.

Don't be surprised if VW T1 goes without tagging ?

At this point,  I think we will have all retired before T1 or PR do.

Do you really think Lego evaluate remaining demand for a set via the Wishlist? I mean, compared to all the latest marketing tools this sounds totally low-tech and outdated... which probably means that TLG do in fact use it...

Why would the button be there otherwise if it wasn't to gauge demand and put the oompaloompas back to work? Maintaing a website like LEGO's isn't cheap to it's obviously there for a very good reason. I personally think this is why the Simpsons House kept coming back.

SAH CS: Why are you calling by phone to place an order - is our web down again?

Me: No, it´s just faster by phone as you won´t give me an error message just as I am at the last screen.

SAH CS rep´s computer promptly resets.

The supposed reason is to help you locate items you spotted earlier in the maze that is SAH. With the latest "improvement" you can´t even see all products on one page.....

PR's not been out that long really. I have a gut feeling that T1 will go without fanfare, like the TH did.

Let's all go to SaH, navigate to 10251 Brick Bank, "Add To Wishlist" and see what happens. If 10,000 of us click on it, I reckon it'll return. I've been doing it daily since Sold Out.

I can think of some other reasons for the Wishlist.

The problem with your Simpsons House Wishlist assumption is: correlation is not causation.

Or you could have just bought it when it returned a couple of times this week!

Right now the longest serving sets are the power functions, T1, Mindstorms and PR.

I don’t want any, thanks. Just thinking of others who missed out.

Probably,  but I meant it was out longer

Man...you're too quick.  I tried to edit that out after I realized that they were talking about 31058 after all (I probably shouldn't be typing when I wake up way too early).  I'm not sure about 31058...I assumed that it would be going this year.

if 31058 is not going and Lego is extending its normal life cycle, I have to remind myself never to invest in a new set if the one before was a sucess

It means nothing, sorry.

Does the site maintain an active retiring list?  I’m hoping to take advantage of the Target GC deal. Thanks.

Tabby was threatening, but I fear he was just talking out of his rear as usual.

My meow is worse than my bite. I did take a break for a while, which we're all entitled to.

I know it’s retired in Oz but does anybody really believe the HP&H BH is going to retire in US already? I picked up four in the past two days just in case, one box is a little damaged.

I think someone should start a poll at this point. I personally don't believe it is.

I bought 50 before the season started with the intention of flipping them. Then lost and forgot about them. Found them today while i was organizing. May be a blessing ?
