The most recent UCS Tie Fighter I bought from SAH on black Friday (personal build and used up some points) has a seal code of 08S6. Surely that can't be the last production run of this set TLG have done this year.

I have started to collect ALL Elves sets for my little daughter for future gifts and after this summer she will have about 25 of them.... But on the other side the sets should cover several birthdays/Christmas etc. in the future... ;-) Edited December 30, 20168 yr by mauro23
December 30, 20168 yr I would need quite some daughters but I've only got one yet (9 weeks old ^^). So it would take quite a while to get rid of the pile I bought two month ago Edited December 30, 20168 yr by Gnueck

December 30, 20168 yr It's not bad, I've expetected that these sets would take a while to be something worth (got mostly 41180). Anyway, I'm pretty sure that I saw the "retiring soon" tag on the whole series before

December 31, 20168 yr Amazon's price match software matched a fraudulent 3rd party seller...many bought but only a lucky few shipped.
December 31, 20168 yr Pleeease can we stop stating UCS Ties at $50. As BA mentioned yesterday this was a fluke to begin with. Secondly there was a limit 1 per account (maybe someone wants to pipe up that ordered 999 on a business account). Third, very few actually shipped. I was pretty early in and none of my orders shipped. If someone would like to speak up that received a pile of these at $50 then I'll happily bow out. Otherwise, as future market Intel essentially zero purchased at $50.
December 31, 20168 yr PLEEEASSSEE can you just chill? The question was: "Has anyone bought USC Tie Fighter at a discount, if so how much was the lowest?" I just answered the question. Yes, I bought it at a discount. And that was the lowest.

Yes, I bought it at a discount. And that was the lowest. Ok. Sorry if I jumped you a bit hard. But over and over again this gets trotted out as the example. Someone bought a Sandcrawler at Walmart for $12. This is not a good example to the question, "how low have these been purchased?"Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the implied context of that question is: if I purchase set X at Y price will I be competing with a group that also purchased a significant number at Y-n in the future. Otherwise it is a mostly useless question and answer.

But I agree that does not really show anything as it was some sort of mistake I guess and Walmart did not seem to care.
