What does it mean for the important sets? Buy now or wait till Black Friday...?

Assuming TLG (Europe) handles matters the same way like last year we can expect sets which are C2C now to receive the Retired Product label some time in the coming weeks.

The Backorder Accepted sets are problaby safe to wait till Black Friday, though if you haven't met your quota yet on those sets you may get moving already now just to make sure. There is a hidden gem on the list... ;)

  • Here you go. Are likes important? ^^ Anyway, I find it interesting that the City Vulcan sets are also seem to be done. They are from last year, so they are not really that old. Did a pretty good

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

Any set can go at any time. All of the recent bionicle sets were on back order then dissapeared from website and went to retired. If you want something don't dilly dally

I am not really sure if the Mixer is a hidden gem... :-)

When I think about the fact that only ONE(!) has been sold in the last 6 months in the European Union at BrickLink then I am a little bit sceptical...

I would be more worried about it not being a hidden gem if there were sold ONE MILLION(!) copies on Bricklink in the last 6 months.

So a hidden gem it is.

I believe that this set could have an EEE flair...

You mean one from the list you have published?

My lips are sealed. Promised my tip-giver to not reveal this set before it's done. :P

No one can predict the LEGO future (anymore) and supposedly "hidden gems" mighty as well become "hidden turds". A lack of (or load of) sales pre-EOL can be either good or bad - it depends. On what - nobody knows. I for one would be skeptical about anyone giving hints on "hidden" whatsoever and the "gems" themselves. In your above list I couldn't find any set that is likely to become an exceptionally well-performing winner. Not the Mixer and not any other set.

Indeed, move along, nothing to see here. :D

If the Holiday Train retires early, it would be a "true" exclusive, with a short run, and could be "the one"

just a little something to cheer you all up a little, SD 75902 SELLING on ebay uk for £41 and over.

One person may have listed it for £40 or may have sold for £40 but that is an exception and not the norm.

Very few sets sell for close to or above RRP on ebay, those sets are usually exclusives, or people that can't be bothered to look on lego to buy or are using dodgy money to buy sets

Well... that's interesting! Launched in April 2016, unexpectedly Retired in November 2016 (?)... Could be a future collector's item! ;)

Yeah... but extremely hard to find a buyer.

Lego games are not the best sellers.
