I did that with one of their previous flash sales and missed it by a day and my son was with me and said that the Sandcrawler was for him and the manager gave it to me for the sale price and also it was a minty box that they had held back until the sale was over and back to rrp

Other than uneven on-hand inventory, have we seen seal codes for a set produced AFTER retirement in another region?  I'm still too new to know the historical precedence if this has happened.  I'm guessing most production schedules are made well in advance, so it is probably costly to shift production.

Yes, that tag was up long before any "retiring soon" labels went up anywhere.  And it took them how many months to shift production and get them back on shelves?  3-4?  I don't think Ecto-1s are going to start flying off the shelves, especially not in numbers that would justify another production.  Most people who stock up in large quantities have done so over the last 2-3 years of availability.

I think a lot of people in the U.S. got there fill while discounted on Amazon and Wal-Mart.

Hard to justify buying more at MSRP, especially with the recent performance of Ideas sets and exclusives.

Is it always this way? Do retirements occur first across the pond before they hit the US?
