The latest annoying cretin on here will soon be retiring.... from BP that is. The sooner we have a paid premium membership the better.

Assuming this is only about plastic rather than people retiring, I think the Coast Guard theme is on the way out (helicopter already EOL). I have a few job lots of the entire theme ready to roll that cost me -50% or less.

Thanks for correcting me, how do you know that?  60015 is sold out in the UK but, available at retailers and not EOL as far as I know.  I ask as we get catalogues after the US and have no access to wholesale lists.  No big deal as i think these are great sets and I have no problem waiting.  Yes, another CITY sub-theme that I like but, forgot to mention ;-)

 

I can probably say the same about the Arctic sub-theme but, I think it's just limited stock at this time.

i didn't realise it was out yet as I've not seen the English one.  I've already pencilled in job lots to buy.  There's a dead cert winner which I will definitely order 99 of if I can.

Everything is possible, but I don't think this will be retired just yet. <panicmode> It could be though that you cannot buy these anymore at "normal" retailers, only directly from Lego. Same for Pet Shop and maybe others. </panicmode>

That is 21019 in the background - I think it was for effect but not supposed to be showing it was a new 2015 set.

I don't think anyone on this site has any inside information on whether the Pet Shop is retiring, however it's quite common at this time of year for stock to sell out at retailers. If it was going I feel it would have been long gone by now, I imagine Pet Ship will end production towards the end of 2015
