Fallingwater House have been around since almost 5 years. Feeling that it may follow Farnworth house footstep. what is your thought?

I was wondering that today. I'd like to see it go soon hopefully, it's been around a long time. A big new architecture set would be nice too.

  • Here you go. Are likes important? ^^ Anyway, I find it interesting that the City Vulcan sets are also seem to be done. They are from last year, so they are not really that old. Did a pretty good

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

OMG . does it really retired GE???

Either you have not been fully awake when you wrote this, or I am not fully reading it now. Or in other words: what?

Since it looks like the GE is officially retired and sold out pretty much everywhere. What is every ones predictions on the next big set. Could it be Pet shop or town Hall?

It is not retired until it is retired. And it is not retired yet.

It's still available all over the UK and shows no signs of disappearing at all.  Pet shops on the other hand.........

No. Officially it can not look.

Is... or is not. There is no look like.

Saw your post first come through in email without the graphic, not seeing Yoda and it made me think of this.  :)

Opened the page and saw your graphic, too hilarious.

Do the larger sets usually get a "retiring soon" next to them. Everyone keeps speculating on tons of sets that might be retired but none have a "retiring soon". What's past history from Lego?

The retiring soon tag, IMO, is used to sell sets that they want to retire but aren't selling. No need to do that with HH since it was selling a lot.

well, let us just say that SSD never had no stinking "retired soon" flag

Mscheaf is correct. It's basically a marketing gimmick. The vast majority of sets that retire never get a retiring soon tag. You'll notice the current list of retiring soon sets is mostly clunkers, or "series" types of things they want to move out to release the next wave.

I spoke to a Lego sales rep and he told me that the GE is retired. He suggested to purchase from third party sellers. GE is done.

Interesting in a store or LEGO Shop at Home on the phone?

Lego Shop at Home on the phone. It seems very obvious that it's gone. The site shows sold out without a date of when it will be back in stock. It will show "retired" in a few weeks.

You're in luck! This whole forum happens to be CHOCK FULL of 3rd party sellers.

Hang around in the daily deal thread - maybe walmart or TRU have brief availability

I think it's done as well, but it has been "Sold Out" multiple times now, several in the last month alone.

Super put that with Toys ****** Bricks Retired article and it is starting to look better for retirement sooner than later

As soon as I say that it will be in stock everywhere momentarily. :)

Bahahahaha! Got a weird look from the guys in the lunch room after laughing at that one!

Not a chance my friend, I think I can count on both hands the number of times it has been "sold out", same for Town Hall, same for SSD.  I expect retired tags at the end of the year or in January, inventory should be long gone by then.  I am not convinced on town hall, but if it is then that would be great.

Why do you think TH is retiring. It clearly says that it will ship in 30 days when you click through to the product page. SSD is retired.

That message for the TH is not there anymore, it was 15 minutes ago. The TH is not going yet. Pet shop is first to go.
