They know what their turds are, it's part of their code:

var limit = 2;
if (set == turd){
  limit = 9999;
}
if (purchases > limit){
  account = banned;
}

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

The 346,603 returned Nexo sets in their warehouse from Xmas campaign should certainly help them work it out.

If (set = "Nexo Fortrex")

free doughnut for all employees =(1)

The reseller detection algorithm probably looks something like this then:

List <string> slowsellers = new List<string>("Nexo Knights","Friends","Ninjago","Simpsons","Elves");

foreach (item in order.items) {

   if(item.quantity >= item.limit && ! slowsellers.contains(item.theme)) {

      order.cancel=true;

      break;

   }

}

And the page loading has this embedded somewhere:

Random random = new Random();

system.threading.thread.sleep(random.next(1000,10000));

That is definitely in there along with their order by price:

$('#price-high-to-low').click(function(e){
  e.preventDefault();
  console.log("No more money to finish coding website");
  return false;
});

And to get back on topic:

You won't have to wait long as resurrection isn't too far away ;-)

What about that damn Ecto1 thing? Can you die? Please retire. Lets remember: if a certain set is an investment sucess the next one similiar thing is a turd.

Sounds like the rule about Microsoft Windows versions. What are the most recent seal codes people have been getting?

Anybody seen any xxS7 seal codes on Ecto1? I'm thinking of ordering one (during Batman polybag promo) to confirm if it's still in production - I think it is.

Thanks, I won't order it now ;-)

I have some 44S6 from Tesco, same code as WALL-E.

well I think it's not from production line but leftovers. In London still You can find them on shelves without hassle.

Waiting for Wall-e which should be delivery by tomorrow to see the code of the very final batch.

That would seem to indicate either a major last run or that demand has fallen away. Strange they have resisted marking it down.

Ecto1 shows all the signs of being a total turkey but, we know it isn't (or certainy shouldn't be). However, I do remember the Delorean hanging on until the bitter end and I only bought a few as it was soooo butt ugly!

Everyone keeps talking about Ecto 1 and Doctor who being the next delorean, but the reason delorean did good was most people dismissed it, everyone in UK has got at least 10 of each, there's too much supply. Sure ecto 1 is a fast seller, but theres only so many you can sell. Both will eventually for 1.5-2 RRP, but it might be a long time with too much supply.

Everyone is also banking on there not being another doctor who set, if there is one (we can't rule it out) that will definitely hit the ideas version.

Similar to what I paid and I have hundreds, I'm far from worried ;-)

You can't beat Asda!

Nobody knows how many Ecto1 or Doctor Who are hoarded. For all we know, it could just be LEGO forum members who are likely to be a very tiny fraction of the total buyer's base. Were many more of these made than the Delorean? We'll never know and I really don't care.

£15 buy in on the Ecto's, well played. I have about 10 but I paid more for mine. Didn't catch an opportunity to straight out buy them for that price. Unless there were voucher deals etc going on there......

Edit - From the last response, it looks like I did just miss one of those crazy offers ;)
