I think the Ecto-1 will do fine, the set sells, hence why it's been out so long, it's already selling above RRP on eBay even though we can still get it from SaH cheaper.

I agree about Dr. Turd, it's been discounted in the UK continually for 6 months, i regret buying the ones i have from Tesco 3-for-2, money would have been better spent elsewhere.

The thing Ecto-1 has going for it, is that it's a very nice looking set. I do think it will take at least another six months until it gets above the 60€ mark. After that, the next major hurdle is 70€.

I'm afraid Dr. Turd is going to be a very long hold, but on the plus side it's unlikely we'll see any sort of remake.

And that only Maze went relatively quietly from SAH.

I expected a lot more hoarding of Maze to be honest. It seems like the number of sellers has hardly gone up since the retiring soon tag popped up. The thing is, I don't see anyone paying much more than 100€ for this set. That would mean about 30€ of profit per set best case, since there were hardly any discounts for this one. Can't sell it in bulk either, because of the limited availability.

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

The Turdis. Suddenly it all makes sense.

Haha yeh . Bit of a stinker I think now which is sad.

Oversupply strikes again. :(

I can see TLG not retiring the Darth Vader buildable fig this year. Shame, as demand would have been good for flipping.

The Grievous fig is pretty epic, and will be a long term winner. I have no doubt.

The man of the moment however is Vader, if this had been gone by now, it would be doing very well. The fact you can get one for 16 bucks right now on Amazon is awesome. Kiddies be happy for Christmas.

typed epic twice in two sentences. Didn't want to be that guy.

DV is £10.34 instore at nearly every Tesco in Berkshire. I already have hundreds so I'll leave them for somebody else. John Lewis price agreed to price match from £24.99 to £10.34, I bought one as a present.

71006 Simpsons´ House has disappeared from US SAH....

Appears on mine. Still seeing no indication the Simpsons are done other than emazers posts.

I still have a Kwik E-Mart in my basket at SaH. Maybe Lego is waiting for me to pull the trigger?

71006 Simpsons House is on Back Order in the UK. I somehow doubt it's done but, mine have gone anyway and won't be buying again as I now hate the show.

I can´t see it in exclusives, Simpsons or by searching with set number and I am on US SAH. If I go to Canada I get it and can switch back to US and still see it with US price.

For me, all limit 1 exclusives at SAH are done soon, but I may be wrong.

Which are the ones with limit 1? Can you make a list?

Discounted in Europe, limit 1 in the US. I´d say it is. Remember last year they put the retiring sets to limit 1 in the USA before they EOL´d?

That´s 1 more than me. Galeria were giving them away a while back and SAH had them at 20% off plus free gift worth 30 euros. You really should pay more attention :P

I am still thinking in the USA the only exclusives retiring are those that had the "retiring soon" tag and that walmart discounted heavily a few months ago. I don;t see Ferris Wheel going, just the Mixer.

Oops... I gave into temptation online an hour ago! I went for DV over GG as DV is in R1 and GG is no more. The prequels were disappointing anyway.

Didn't you just say you're out and sold everything?  I don't know why I'm bothering to ask.
