There are so many more options though. Now I am not moaning about early retirement its just it feel a waste when there was other sets with greater potential which would be around longer than a year.

Rats, that's one of the first sets I bought when I started investing and I sold them waaaaaay too early. I had four of them and that was "a lot" for me three years ago.

Creator Changing Seasons you mean, right? It's a great set that invites people to rebuild it with the changing seasons. It's the only LEGO set my wife is happy with having on display in our living room. Now it's at the Autumn setting (the least interesting setting, I think) but come December we'll rebuild it to the Winter setting.   I think this set will do well.

Oh, and FYI, that was not the hidden gem I mentioned earlier.

City of Stiix is the only one tagged "retiring soon" only available at RPP in French LEGO Shop at Home...and it was before the tag...we can get most of sets tagged with 15/20% discount at AUCHAN (our 2nd biggest  french "Walmart store" after CARREFOUR). I think the hidden gem is 60092 submarine by the way. Great set for me.

In fact, I don't understand why you guys are still buying pet shop...for those who are still buying (and keep it alive)...it's obvious that you won't make money at RPP buying...am I wrong ?

OK ? it's your opinion...

Everybody has been bad mouthing pet shop for last few years which means more actual buyers have been buying instead of investors, so it might be a good thing to invest, who knows anymore 

Bad mouthing ? All of reviews or opinions I read was it's a great set (and I can imagine the not afol people buying this set for their children). For those who could buy it at 30% or more discount  (so lucky in the us ^^) it's OK.  But please, stop buying !

Even if that's true, there is still the problem if the investors who bought them for the first 2 years of the run...

As almost people said, it's harder to make money now : I don't  know if I have to quick flip, hoard, keep for 2 or more years etc. Next summer, I must move in another country because of my job, so I need to sell most of my brickfolio.  If it's UK, I can keep most of my sets, if it's overseas, I'll have to sell as soon as possible...
