  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

Would it be too much to ask to retire the Helicarrier as well?

Yes, No Retire for you!

SC retiring seems to match with the list I posted earlier.

If it's correct, that would mean that SOH is not retiring. Simpsons House also retiring? EV also gone?

I was actually thinking the same thing. It is not that popular if you look at people that own it on brickset and the production run is almost as long as the tumbler. I expect it to retire by November!

Is the sandcrawler officially retiring or is it just in between production runs and are low on stock?

If we all knew the answer to that question then this investing game would be a piece of cake

nothing is getting retired , everything will be out for a couple more years or remade as soon as it retires. :P

because maybe a few families  missed that set and didn't know it was going to retire so naturally lego need to re release it  as they say themselves.

I can say, definitively, yes.

I asked the same 8Ball a slightly rephrased question:

Is the LEGO Sandcrawler retiring?

The answer: As I see it, yes

Sandcrawler is available with a limit of 5 on the UK SOH.

Same in the Netherlands, but stock can go rapidly.

Boom, you are right. Now for Europe.

I just went through all the countries and the Sandcrawler is still with a limit of 5 in:

  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Finland
  • France
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Luxembourg
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Spain
  • Switzerland (gotta love their new shop design)
  • Sweden
  • Great Britain
  • Austria

I made this list as I went  through all the sites. We can use this to check availability lateron.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news but availability is always the same for all countries outside of the US.

Good to know :) At least we know for sure it is still available in all countries outside North America.

I remember the Pet Shop being at a lower limit of 2, than Germany's 5, in  the Netherlands for a while though. I can imagine the availability adjusting to decreasing stock.
