  • Here you go. Are likes important? ^^ Anyway, I find it interesting that the City Vulcan sets are also seem to be done. They are from last year, so they are not really that old. Did a pretty good

  • I'm feeling generous and seems Cladner and Val-E are working to hard at this,  might as well simplify their jobs for the holidays.  Plus some of these need to disappear quicker... 10815

  • Chris, I think you're coming in at a time where the LEGO reselling party is coming to an end. I'm not saying there is no more money to be made; what I'm saying is that the ship is full and the general

Teehee, it's funny to add 999 SSD's to your cart. I wonder what's the largest single transaction ever made on Amazon? I once placed an order for ~$3500 worth of LEGO (as a broker for an overseas customer) but 999 SSD's is just, wow. A lot of money.

Just wondering... what if a whole bunch of people add 999 SSD's to their cart, just to see if Amazon's stock exceeds 999 or not. And what if Amazon has some sort of computer program that, based on all those carts full of SSD's decides that the SSD is a hot item and Amazon should add a couple of thousand SSD's to their stock....

It just may be another Lego Studio set. That set is again available after several months of speculation with spiking prices on Ebay. Then there is the double point discussion on Lego.com. We'll see what happened on 4/16 and on 5/4. can't wait. I have 6 of these but may get some more off Amazon

Bah, I see you are not into them diamond HDMI cables then. Though Amzon stock levels are kinda low for them, might have to pick up a few in case they are nearing retirement...

Or, try adding 999 of these babies:  http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN85S9-85-Inch-Ultra-120Hz/dp/B00CMEN95U/  (make sure to read reviews of course)

I don't think adding to cart has any affect. Only placing an order subtracts from stock level, as far as I could see. Now if you had one of them Amex cards with no limits, you could probably place an order with slowest shipping speed (so you could safely cancel). That would be an awesome market manipulation...

Saw this a few months back. Amanda for $40K is probably a good deal to some people.

Something tell's me that you can get better deals on Amandas from alternative "retailers"

I need to find some coupons first.

BTW, any affiliate link from BP to those sites? I want to contribute to our community.

The Big Shop remodel is complete. I was there a week and a half ago for Star Wars weekend and they had every exclusive set available. They must have sold out of SSDs since then.

Yep.  It opened the first day of Star Wars.  I don't remember the SSDs being there, but I wasn't looking for them.  I was there shopping yesterday (spent most of my time picking bricks), but confirmed that I couldn't find any SSDs or DSs.  I think all the exclusives were still there, though.

Bat vs Bane Tumbler Chase was marked at 27.98 on the shelf at my local target as if that was the regular price, yet there are none in stock to purchase.....odd. I've looked around the whole area and dont see any.

It's also marked as Not available in Stores on Target.com.

Along with the great sales from multiple retailers lately (as low as 26-29 each) Potential retirement signs?

It's only like half a million US...Maybe if I win the lottery someday, I'll buy like 100+ and make a horrific Imperial Fleet. Scratch that, I just need a few dozen, about a thousand TIE Fighters...And then of course, match that with the rebel fleet...Whole lot of X/Y/A/B Wings...lol

Or you could buy all of the 2nd market stock, corner the market, double your money(you will have to have a butler to handle the sales though), buy lego factory or something....

You can go to Target and get hundreds of those mini tie fighter polybags. It is about time they put other polys in their places anyway

it's been soooooooooo long since I've seen a different poly at target.  all the tie fighters are gone but plenty of the chima poly jammed on every checkout

Yeesh, I can still get a bunch of those TIE Fighter polybags. Thankfully not so many as before but dang, and now they seem to be getting replaced by Ewar's Acro Fighter polybag for Chima. Target should do their self a favor and clearance those things and actually put up a darn sign saying they are! :ireful:

What Poly Bags are on clearance at Target?

What Poly Bags are on clearance at Target?

There aren't any on sale at mine for the moment and that's the problem. The ones they do seem to clearance on any sort of basis are the seasonal polybags like the Seaplane from earlier this year. The next ones that should see a sale would be Stephanie's Bakery Stand & Fast Car. Still the regular polybags you find up at the checkout hardly get a clearance at all which in my opinion would help the store get rid of them.

So, is the SSD going away or not? I need to get some, but hate to tie up the money right now.

I have insider info..... It will go away at some point. Guaranteed. Take that to the bank.

Now says "TEMPORARILY out of stock", but doesn't have a "will ship on" date.

Seems to be a gray area between Out of stock, but you can add it to your bag, and SOLD OUT.

Hopefully they retire it soon.  Even if they do retire it next month we will have quite a bit of stock at the local retailers level.  Sorry I am ignoring non-US outlets as it is a different market.  Outside of Amazon though there is no way to know what inventory levels are at.  I do believe most folks will miss the boat on this though due to the price point and "not wanting to tie up cash". To each his own, carry on.
