Sorry, but if I invested in themes I liked, I would be sitting on a heap of market duds like Alien Conquest, Atlantis and Pharaoh's Quest. Also, emazers, I lol'd at "Why did I o

I agree with this, but if they get rid of the retiring soon sign, and run another few lines off with it, I will at least return 5 of them.  I'm not stressed about it though.  Plus these sets fit in the free priority mail box that USPS provides (a nice feature).

Why would you want to return them, if you have 20 or so just keep them sooner or later they will be worth alot more, so the guys who are thinking about returning them well after you return them, next year when they are selling for $100 we hope you won't be happy about returning them. Now if you return them and buy A Few haunted Houses, Tower Bridges, Tower Of Orthanc well I am with you on that theory.

Yeah, I would only be doing it for space.  I have sat on plenty of sets, and will continue to do so.

They are out of stock at lego.com but are getting more in soon! Then after that they are gone for good!

Just got 2 for $50 at Toronto Legoland. Took 2 seconds to get over the surprise of seeing them before they were in my hand

I found one in Target while looking for birthday gift. I had to pick it up, but It's gone now. What are your local prices? $24.99 Cdn

Does anyone know where to get some of these for a low price right now??

I do not know where to get one at a low price, but you can try looking for it on sale in some stores.

Well I'm in Wisconsin and they already have new sets out what bout Walmart?

This set is a target exclusive, you will never find it at a Wal-Mart.

search for the set on this site, will give you more information than you wanted to know :turned:

Just a small FYI...

Still in-stock at Target.com.

Still listed as temp out of stock on lego.com

seems to be completaly gone now from LEGO Shop at Home

nvm still temp out of stock, just no direct link from brickpicker to that page

Is it odd for something to be out of stock for 1-2 weeks at s@h, and then come back in stock?

No, it happens all the time. Minecraft is a perfect example. It has been in and out of stock routinely since its release. I want to sy Minecraft was OOS for a couple of months.

Never say never when it comes to LEGO.  Just think of all the EXCLUSIVE polybags that seem to make their way through WM, Target, and TRU.
