Has any body tried building Lego furniture?

But I'm talking about real human furniture, like a small table. No sofas please xD Any idea on how to do this? I know that they usually buy a table to use as base and the cover it with pieces. Do you use glue? Any comments/suggestions? Wifey and I are looking into this very seroiusly.

    LEGO furniture...Easy...How about a LEGO HOUSE!!!. Great book.
