I think I'll skip both for now, and pick up the Death Star I've been putting off instead. But, if I had to choose one I'd get the opera house.

Sydney Opera House. No questions asked, all money on the table, just like that. BAM!

This is probably my addiction talking but how about sticking a poll on this sucker for everyone, huh?

Can you do it for me, my phone is acting up.......thanks!

Builders are the only ones that should be looking into getting these two sets right away..........way too much money and space to be tying up if you are solely an investor IMO.

Ewok Village is cute and all with great play features, but the newest rendition of the Opera House is a stunning work of art worthy of the building it represents unlike the poopy Architecture model. They finally managed to capture the fluidity of the curves so magnificently.

Leave everything to me. Mwahahaha! post-2081-0-79199500-1369727566.gif

From an investment stand point, I would simply get the one that is the stronger seller.

From a personal perspective SOH without a doubt.

Definitely the Opera House. Just reminds me of the Taj Mahal with that wow factor where people will still want later on.

It definitely is a personal point of view though.

I would take Eqok village, but thats because I would want vegetation and parts...

I only MOC castle stuff, and sydney opera house has less usable parts than Ewok village!

Personally the Opera House.  For investment it's too early to tell and to early to even need to think about deciding, obviously both will be more than likely be winners.

Unless you're building a white castle... =)

I'd go with SOH

Yeh but whenever I build ANY castle I tend to use hundreds of green stuff for trees/terrain

I like it when the terrain looks realistic to the castle so good job. I hate it when someone just builds a castle and doesnt built anything around it.

SOH for me as well, it would be to hard to pass up something so spectacular. It's not that EV isn't spectacular, in certain ways it is more so then SOH. I just think the build is going to be harder/longer and that is my favorite part.

What about the Tower of Orthanc? Is that on the same level as these two sets? From an investment perspective, how are the LoTR sets shaping up? Seems like with a hardcore fan base + current Hobbit movies, there's nice potential...?
